Tim Max if you don’t get into Yale then that’s fine! Just try your best to accomplishing your dreams. It’s never the end of the world nor does one rejection define you. There’s MANY Universities and Colleges out there! Good luck though :)
@@timmax1562 yes! totally agree with @Gellert Grindelwald (btw im part of the fb fandom too!) in the end, youll still learn to love yourself and you still appreiciate it because you remember all the hard work that got you there, and in the end even if you dont get in it could be for your own good. Maybe that school wasnt for you and whatever one you do end up going to probably will be the right one since if you DO put hardwork into something, whatever the output is will always be good. Even if its not what you expected.
I absolutely love how he woke up, set up the camera, got into bed, and the acted like he had just gotten up. Lmao
Productive days can be tiring but give you a deep rewarding feeling 💪
I personally love these type of videos. A mix of vlog and sitting down narrating. The studying for midterms/finals videos were awesome too I still check those out haha. Keep up the hard work Josh. (Bring back Kingrey!)

Please do more of the Yale structures, layout, what it looks like on the inside and the New Haven area right around Yale. So for those of us who have never been there can get a better idea of what the topography of Yale is like.

Ever since you said you wanted to change the trajectory of your channel, there's a definite change (for the good!) always enjoyed your videos, but more so now - can't really articulate why? Hey, Josh! I love your videos. I have a few questions about Yale that I was hoping you would be able to answer, as I'm a current junior and Yale is at the top of my list right now.
1) How strong would you say Yale computer science is? It doesn't have the STEM rep of a Princeton/Stanford/MIT, but do you think that is misguided and Yale compsci is very strong?
2) How hard/stressful is Yale in general? I know schools like Columbia and MIT are known for being brutal and depression-inducing, but is Yale a more relaxed school? Is obtaining a high GPA not too daunting of a task?
3) This is a little embarrassing, but how politically in-your-face are most students?
4) How safe do you think Yale is?
5) Is getting internships relatively easy for Yale students? If so, where? Boston?
may wanna watch out on number 3. I heard there's a lot of activism at Yale, which can be good, but that means there's the group known as Social Justice Warriors present on campus. I heard they do get chaotic but I would just be patient and mind my own business
Bro literally all you need to know about Yale is that it's Yale
1. computer science is really strong but its impossibly hard...for one of the advanced classes i hear that the problem sets take 30-40 hours and those are bi-weekly
2. Yale is super stressful but so are all of the comparable universities
3. it depends on who you hang out with but not too bad.If you want to be politically involved it's very easy but it's equally as easy to not be.
4. I've lived in New Haven my entire life and I will say that it's reputation for not being safe is not undeserved. If you're not stupid and are always with friends while walking late at night though there shouldn't be any problems. Just be smart in your decisions and it's as safe as anywhere else.
5. Getting internships can be easy and can be very hard. it all depends on the internship and how competitive it is. Going to Yale definitely gives you a leg up over students from less prestigious universities and also Yale provides you with a great alumni network so that making connections is relatively easy.

it doesn't matter if Yale is ranked 40 in engineering schools, I mean it does but... when your employer sees that you went to Yale he wouldn't care about Yales ranking in engineering. Its all in the name YALE IS YALE

Hey Josh- Keep up the good work, your current mix of daily Vlogs and other tidings at Yale work well for me. I first found your channel with the video after your freshman year, where the title made you think you hated your first year at Yale, but quite the contrary, you loved it. Well, I am Yale '89 and a former TD'er that lived in the annex 33 years ago. It was not renovated, and we got up to our rooms from the back fire escape. The rooms were triples, with one room a double and one a single, but my roommate slept on the window sill with a sleeping blanket. Anyways, thanks, your videos of TD and your campus coming and goings rekindles good memories of my time at Yale [MB&B by the way... I do not see you trekking up the science hill much] .
