WHOI Tests UUV Recovery System for Submarine Deployment in MITRE’s BlueTech Lab

- Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution’s (WHOI) Carl Hartsfield and team tested their uncrewed underwater vehicle (UUV) recovery device for submarines in the MITRE BlueTech Lab. The scale of the BlueTech Lab test tank makes it possible to test technology prior to open sea testing, allowing for precise adjustments to be made in a controlled environment rather than in the field.
