3:20 for the carriage chase, there is actually a way to not take damage there, it just requires jumping off the carriage right before the cutscene happens (ive done it before and you should land on the ground moving without taking a hit). It might take a couple of attempts to hit, but the boss is really easy to kill so it shouldnt take too long before you get a no hit run on it

That edge killed me on the Xbox 360 version so I learned to avoid it

What do you mean I don't think that area is a run killer. Unless you mean for no deaths. I'd say the sock puppet & Industrialist are the levels that break most normal people's 1st playthrough as they are just such hard levels with a relitvely easy for the Industrialist boss but that lasts kinda long & a relatively hard but short boss with the sock puppet.

@@piratesofthecarbohydrates Oh its not that hard to get passed the lava. You just stop in-between each & wait. Its not really possible to pass both without getting hurt unless you have a lot of agility.
@cillianennis9921 dude it's called joking, the whole point of me saying that was because I was being sarcastic and saying that the level was too hard to beat, I know how to beat the level and not take damage

Nice job, I'm trying to complete this challenge on insane mode. I've got everything except Necromancer and Final Boss done.
First and foremost: Amazing video! I love your challenge runs, always very entertaining to watch! Very underrated channel in my opinion.
Second: Speaking of my opinion, though it may not matter much, on glitches and if they should be used in a challenge run. I personally think that glitches should only be used if the challenge is impossible or unreasonably time consuming to complete without it. Glitches themselves are difficult to pull off in some cases and while practice makes perfect, the same applies to challenges like these. Even if the other two criteria are not met and you perform the glitch, it does not take away from the video, at least to me. I would rather you have fun with challenges than get burnt out on them because of a brick wall in your path.
Overall, take your time and have fun with it, I enjoy your content either way!
1:55 realy fun fact: in the end, when the giant dessapear, you can go back and gonna do a super buged jump. ( I only do it on ps3 version, i don't know if works on remaster version)
Heres a good tip, doing the double jump combo while juggling on the volcano will help keep you in the air and you can do it in only 2 sandwiches

you can actually avoid the 1 damage from hitting the top of the cave, pretty sure flamming has a video on it. requires sandwichs tho i believe
the sandwich isnt unlocked until lava world, so at that point in the game, i couldn't do it

@@Reckerless 2 months late, I just stumbled into this video, but a proper No Hit would be using character unlock skip to go from Barb Boss to Ship, and then you can grab a sandwich at the Snow Store, return and play the left side with sandwich prepared for parade. Playing right side at low level is itself a challenge, let alone hitless. Sounds fun tho, maybe we'll even make it a speedrun category some day. Alto, unlike "no damage", I think No Hit shouldn't allow shielding enemy attacks or getting any sort of stagger/knockback animations (like bouncing off necromancer shield)
well if glitches are aloud you can do the glitch where you go onto the ship early

I think glitches are fine for these challanges, but do a future video 'no glitch' challanges. Do challanges you have done before but properly :)

now do this challenge but if you take damage, instead of resetting the level reset the entire run.

Part 4: Same thing but in one run you have to do regular mode, then insane mode, anytime you fail you have to restart from the beginning at regular mode.

Glitches are a-ok with me. No-hit castle crashers is already hard enough. I saw the necromancer pain during stream so its fine with me.
Damn. By looking at the title of the video, I was hoping there would be a glitch to avoid the hit at the end of the parade.

What if you try a pet only run? Where you can’t attack at all and you need to use pets that can deal damage. That would be a “fun” run to do, but very fun to watch and it might be even harder then your insane mode no stats run.

I'm pretty sure you can jump off at the right time after the Parade. You can jump so that you won't take damage from the cave.

I know I’m late but I managed to jump near the back wheel as the cutscene of getting hit by the top of the cave started and I took no damage, I’ve never been able to replicate this as it was completely on accident…
Fun fact you can throw a max charged boomerang at the breakable walls and it will MUNCH through the wall. 👍

I learned something when playing the game that’s annoying, so you know in flowery field and the marsh there’s helpers, well they can die…. Be careful with them
Also it’s funny how he blamed the necromancer on the marsh for making them beefy but really it was the wizard (why isn’t he a character) also they’re dancing before getting beefy too.

Way I see it, if the challenge is completable without glitches then that should be attempted first, but once you hit an unbeatable obstacle glitches should be allowed to see if they can help you get past it

dude, USE BOMBS FOR THE CHEST PHASE OF THE END BOSS! when he comes out, just jump and use like 3 bombs, repeat till all 9 are gone, and since its easy, you just have to hit him once more to win... i never have to do that phase in solo cus of that

When you get on after wedding level: :skull:
It’s not that the corn boss can reflect damage back at you it’s simply shielding your Y dash attack when it starts going underground, it’s literally the same case for anyone shielding in fact. Just want to clear up a misconception.
You can block the scarab when they are sand tunneling
