I find the comparison between Eren 's childlike innocence 2:29 and the massive amount of carnage terrifying and beautiful. It shows that he never really left his roots, his goal now might be genocide but he's always been seeking freedom. Behind all the politics, betrayal, and Death is a young man who just wants to experience the world no matter it's flaws.
