Piglin brutes are honestly terrifying. They hit like a truck and their axes go straight through shields; if they corner you (which they're almost guaranteed to, given how the parts of the bastion they live in are laid out), you're screwed. I don't even try engaging them in melee; I pillar up nearby and snipe them, double-checking that they're actually all gone via subtitles before moving closer. One time, a brute I missed bashed me off a ledge and into lava below. A different time, the only reason I lived was that I flung myself voluntarily into lava and drank a fire res on the way down

The lava bucket slows them down enough for you to do some damage while also trying to get away

This just reminds me of a certain former popular minecraft canadian who did a series with a friend where every achievement they get increased the border but they were on a map set up in a way to get achievements to reach items for more achievements.

The reason why you got no mobs at the start is because there is a range around you where mobs can't spawn and also mobs ain't supposed to spawn outside the border but because it's so small they do

Cant believe I got in a Kohl video twice! I suggested the chicken farm, then I was also the one who had to do something later that day.
Honestly, the 'not bored, have to do something later' is such a mood. I love tuning in to streams whenever I can, but the gaps in my schedule where I can are weird, so I constantly feel like I'm gonna miss all the funniest parts if I have to leave early

His Rimworld challenges have quickly become comfort series for me; particularly the 100 colonist no-skill no-passion run. Every time I watch his stuff, I end up coming away with something new I've learned for my own playthroughs. Learning how to 'end' insulting sprees via beating the ever-loving shit out of the person on the break has been revolutionary. Seriously, insulting sprees are horrific to deal with. Insults *stack*, and they're like a -5 debuff every time, so if the pawn on the break targets the same person every time instead of spreading out the debuffs, you can easily get a -30 debuff on someone, who then gets sent into a mental break of their own. Punching out the insulter and just dealing with the bruises and cracked bones is so much better. The beatings will continue until morale improves

The animals in Minecraft wouldn't last a day in the wild. They're way too docile for their own good, they evidently have terrible vision as seen in this video, and they literally require another species to assist them in order to reproduce.
