I am so glad that Chris Stapleton has released this song again. John Fogerty your songs are great genius.
What I love about JF is that he has not lost passion for telling wonderful stories. Most songwriters burn out or get lazy and try to mail it in. He has not for which we are blessed.
Today is his wedding anniversary I believe it's 20 years and that's when his life started over

My very first concert was seeing this man at the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre in Victoria. His wife was there and he mentioned to everyone in the arena that it was her birthday.. He got every one of us to sing this song to her.. To this day it remains one of the best performances yet! Beautiful song.
