This was exactly what I needed! My computer was custom built and didn't have the component needed for zoom virtual backgrounds. Thank you so much for showing how this can be done! I love how my logo looks in the corner.
It looks like that we have to use a "virtual camera" like OBS or ECamm to make this work? I would have thought that Zoom might have put into an opportunity for an PNG clear overlay with logo installed in current Zoom configuration?
Thanks for the idea. IMO this is more elegantly accomplished with a Zoom Custom Filter. Take a look at this option, and maybe it's a good topic for your next vid.
Hi there, does you have to open OBS and do "Start Virtual Camera" every time? It seems when I close OBS the camera option is no longer available in Zoom, so I would assume so? Is there any way to set it so the virtual camera automatically starts if I open Zoom?
Thanks for this info! If you want to do this company-wide, does everyone need to have obs studio downloaded? Is there a way to get this done for several people?
Yes. But if your company has an enterprise zoom account there is an option to import a logo on screen. Another option is to use your logo on a virtual background.
Hi Brian, this is great thanks. One problem, when I added the logo in OBS it looks great. Once I streamed the OBS camera in Zoom the logo is backward. How do I change that?
Great informative video mate! Was looking for this kind of solution as my company went ahead and purchased the PRO subscription which doesn't allow the logo integration without virtual background. I have a query though. We organize webinars for education purposes, and many of our panelists are professors who are not tech-savvy enough to use the OBS tool. Is there any way, as a host, I can make this arrange through my computer, and it reflected in the entire webinar's live session irrespective of any panelist in the spotlight. Apologize if I have asked a dumb question or have made it complicated. Thanks!
@@xXxChainsawxXx13 Sorry, but no. In the recent months, I've seen people (including my colleagues) moving to StreamYard for Love interviews that needs to be live casted on Facebook. It's much more user-friendly.
Upon downloading OBS it asks you to check either 1) optimize for streaming, recording is secondary, or 2) optimize for recording, I won't be streaming. For our uses, we need it to be optimized for both live Zoom and definitely for recording as well. Will the recording quality or clarity be compromised in our Zoom recording if we record the Zoom event using this program?

Thank you for this video! I had racked my brain for months trying to make this happen. You got a new subscriber!
Such a great tip, I too have been hacking my brain, cheers for the video and yes I have subscribed!
Glad to assist!
Thanks man

So I will need to be running the OBS virtual video in the background during each zoom meeting?
Great video as always big dog 🤙🏻
Thanks bud 🐺
Hmm. OBS Camera isn't showing up in my Zoom account as a camera option. Any idea how I get it to show up?
Thank you!! Great trick!
Excellent, it worked thanks!

wow, this is fabulous! But why is my logo showing reversed in the mirror in zoom? Yours does not do that....
Great help. Thank you 🙂
I didn''t believe in God but here you are! You've just made my life so much easier :D
Brilliant, thank you!
I have the same problem as others. OBS is not coming up a video source in Zoom. I am on a MACOS High Sierra 10.13.6 can you help?

A huge thank to you!. I didn't believed it until I do it by myself it works as perfect
Do you know of any way to add a virtual camera without downloading anything? I don’t have admin privileges and I’d like to add a logo to Zoom calls.
I'm receiving an error saying "failed to start the video camera. Please select another video camera in Settings" - any suggestions?
It is reading my camera but not reading the feed/
Thank you so much for this content. It's is very helpful.

In your video settings click off mirror my video. Lmk if it doesn’t work.
@@VideoZeus Brian thanks for the response. It looks backward to me but people seeing it have told me it is actually showing correctly for them 👍👍
amazing thank you !

I have the same query! Did you, by any chance, figure out how to do this?

Well, this approach is not that stable when you become the speaker.
Zoom will breakdown a bit.
Just a friendly headsup
Is this only if you're using an older download of Zoom?
No, I'm using updated Zoom, and this works a treat.
Thank you for the video , is there an option to do this on your mobile (android) instead of a laptop?
I don’t think so. However, you could add a logo to a background and use it as a virtual background
followed your directions closely and the eraser tool doesn't work :(

Thanks for the video. Can you please advise on how to add the Subscribe and Bell in your video by the way? Thank you
Wow, that is... just wow! No more Many Cams (f*ck it anyways)! TYSM!!! :D
