I have an og xbox and i rip them. The best thing u can do is google search xbox xiso roms and you will find sites that have them. Vimm is a frequently recommended place to get them.
I should have clarified. After using the first command in Linux, it indicates that the file is to large. I used your referenced video for my pc and it worked great. In trying to do this on steam deck.
Sorry about that i didnt notice this was the linux version. So i tried to reproduce this on my linux install and i cant seem to find this issue you are running into. The only thing i can suggest it trying to locate some xiso archives through google. there are some places that already have them converted. also if you find "hdd ready" you can convert those to xiso with program skipping the first step.

Where do you get your games for xemu. Also does the game come in the iso format and then do I have to put it into the xiso format to use it in xemu?

How would I go about reducing the size of the iso file? Terminal window tells me that the 7gb file is too large.
