Dang! This hit super close to home! This was totally me throughout all of my years in school from kindergarten through my senior year. I was always the outsider and I always kept to myself. While people around me passed the time by talking and laughing and otherwise being obnoxious, I kept just fine daydreaming and planning for the future. Dang! This hit super close to home! This was totally me throughout all of my years in school from kindergarten through my senior year. I was always the outsider and I always kept to myself. While people around me passed the time by talking and laughing and otherwise being obnoxious, I kept just fine daydreaming and planning for the future.
I'll kinda admit, I do regret spending my time imagining myself in the future. It sometimes seems as if I wasted the present by doing so. Then again, looking back, there's no other way I would've wanted it. I don't need anyone else to tell me who I am or to justify me, because I'm figuring that part out myself as the hours pass by, and so too, does the world.
