From what I can tell, they like to give the MC a unique ability for each path. The hard self-sustain, and self reliance for PMC. So people who just started can comfortably get to know the game. The hard taunt and ability to proc a shield with pretty much every move for FMC, making them a relatively reliable sustain for mid game. And, from what I can tell, superbreak is IMC's unique trait. Since most of the rest of their kit is simple damage and break effect buffs. So they might give someone something similar, like buffing damage against broken enemies. But it won't be the MC's once broken, deal break damage with every hit buff.
Is Topaz usable without the light cone? Was thinking of pulling her to build a follow-up attack team, but I think I can only pull one or should I just save my stones if I can only pull a E0 Topaz without her light cone

Imo Ruan Mei is a must for a Break Effect team, you can always replace her with character like Sparkle/Bronya/Tingyun/Asta but it won't be as effective as with Ruan Mei

I think it's still worth it, especially with xueyi, if you have silver wolf. Silver wolf def shred and all type res shred definitely helps, and since xue yi is a hybrid crit/break. My team recommendation would be xue yi, silver wolf, hmc, and aventurine/luocha. I expect xueyi to do 50-60k super break damage per ult, which is worse than what's been showcased in this video, but this team is more flexible against any enemy types.

It's the harmony MC's unique mechanic. You deal break damage once, every time you hit an already broken enemy. So characters that want high break effect, will end up dealing crazy high damage once you break the enemy.

Bronya for more turns on your carry doubling toughness damage, Asta could also probably work for speed boost, Tingyun for more ults. Welt could also probably work by delaying the enemies recovering from breaking thus opening a bigger damage window
Doesn't Xueyi have anti-synergy with Harmony MC and Ruan Mei? The latter two prefer the enemy to stay broken, while Xueyi needs to do toughness damage to maximize on her kit.
For what I understanded of HMC kit, the damage of super break scales of how much toughness damage the attack do. So Xueyi burst for example would do crazy amounts of super break damage. And I see that she's very good to break the enemys faster, so the super break can start earlier in the fight.

i'd really suggest asta especially if the enemy has fire weakness, she could do 80k+ easily with BE build and 40k+ with survive build
