Remember: Hidalgo said SE was rejected by Licencing editors based on "concept and length", making it a failed pitch spun into (illegally sold) fancfiction, not canon or "quasi-canon" (and just as well). Matt, Pablo and Leland Chee have all confirmed it isn't part of the EU. Joe's website continues to mislead readers, saying it's licenced fiction, and implying it's canon to the EU. His "evidence" that it was licenced shows that he neither understands the licencing process nor understands tax forms.
I have the three books (from the time they were on Amazon). First half of Volume I is quite ok. But then is very confusing, hard to read and makes references to franchises like Stargate and Battlestar Galactica...
Dude probably saw Heart of the Jedi making bank on Amazon and constructed a narrative that his rejected Star Wars pitch was an actual lost EU story and not a messy fanfic he wrote after the fact. And is now selling it for the cost of a modern game console rather than publishing it in on AO3 like a normal person lol. Seriously, him trying to say this is on the same level as Heart of the Jedi or Lightsider is laughable lol.

So what's stopping you from selling Shadow of Obi-Wan, then? It's technically a cancelled EU book right? lol.
