This is my quick review of the Xiaomi Smart Band 8 Pro. A surprisingly decent activity tracker with some improvements from last year's model. It's not perfect, but neither is it expensive.

Is there any smart band that can measure sugar level in your body.Its meant for a diabetic patient.

Hi! As far as I'm aware no. Even though some watches and bands states to be able to determine glucose levels they don't actually measure them but more makes guesses depending on other values such as sp02, heart rate etc. The FDA recently also issued a warning regarding these devices that are not approved and can also be very inaccurate in their readings since they´re not actually piercing the skin to get a correct reading. Something that is still necessary (at least from what I can read, even if the bigger developers like Apple and Samsung are said to work on non-invasive variants, however none of those has been revealed yet). // Chris

@@GetThereFaster That's true Chris. Some of the companies are trying to deceive the public by stating that they have developed a watch to measure glucose levels. Btw is there anything available in the market which gives accurate readings to check glucose levels at home without the need to pierce blood?

@@druviceylontea6304 Since we're heading into actual medical territory I am very unsure whether or not there is such a device. From what I can find online everything needs an actual blood sample to analyse, but then again, I am far from a doctor :-) Would probably consult a physician for a more accurate answer here :-) // Chris
