- What an incredibly fun Hermitcraft event! Thanks to all the Hermits, especially Rendog for the great time :D
Voice clips: I forgot to mention, a couple of smaller clips were taken from Rendog and Bdub's perspective of the events, if my memory is correct.
But it's mostly from Grian's video, since he was the first guy I watched. - Фільми й анімація
I'm cackling so hard oh my gosh, all the visual jokes and references are glorious, especially the mass "KILL" mode that everyone just immediately goes into once Bdubs says they have to fight him
Bdubs said they had to fight him to pass, but they heard they *get* to fight him *and* pass

But well, I would have loved to see the GeminiSlay thing too.

BDubs looks like a Psychonauts character in this, and I love it.
And in the boss rush, we had a cardboard cub-out, I see!
They ALL look like psychopaths characters.

A break from the caps to just say, oh my goodness, this is *phenomenal.* The character designs, expressions, the movement, the style, the fully rendered backgrounds?? The professional lineart and colouring??? I even love the roughly rounded framing of the whole animatic! This really felt like snippets from an animated show, it was a pure pleasure! I was grinning and laughing through the whole thing, and you captured these moments flawlessly. I will be rewatching this!!

The art style is adorable, I love Grian being block head and then omg the detail at "anime betrayal" also the bits with Bdubs, the funny music, the explosion noise with Jevin, I ADORE this!

Everything about this is absolutely great. Them tackling Bdubs and leaving behind his crippled body is pure comedy and had me shedding tears. Not to mention all the great character designs. Lovely job!
Love how you designed Ren fully as a canine. And Bdubs' second appearance - all the little movements perfectly reflect his uncertainty, not to mention your take on his beat up skin. XD

This is the BEST animated Ren-the-Theater-Kid I've seen. The design and movements are so simple, yet...it's simple perfection! Also, a glorious thumbnail. Go back and look at it. It's so good.
Constructive feedback: Next one (oh please let there be a next one) maybe lower the music volume in relation to the voices a tad? I struggled a bit to hear some of the quieter lines. Honestly it's a common issue I've noticed with Hermitcraft clips/animatics...and sometimes the Hermits' videos too. I think it stems from the way the prox mod works a lot of the time but even when they get into a voice group there seems to be a struggle to balance the quieter folks with the more...dramatic speakers. :D

I absolutely adore this
This is so good, I love the whole double Anime betrayal scene with Grian, truly the master of deception and loopholes. The animation is so simplistic yet awesome too, I love it. The way Bdubs gets absolutely obliterated before he can even finish his epic villain monologue is hysterical and very in-line with what actually happened, it's perfection.
Also, and this is a side note, there is one reference that just writes itself but for some reason nobody has ever made in the whole King's saga of Hermitcraft S9... _Ren the King is KING DICE FROM CUPHEAD!_ I mean it's perfect! With the whole King's Court minigame where you have to fight each of his goons one by one and then fight the king himself!

That's it, your artistic interpretation of Ren as a wolf walking on his hind legs with the swag of Fox Robin Hood in the cartoon movie is the best of all, bar none. I shall accept no other furry interpretation.

why did I only discover this now this is so goodd omggg. I remember having to animate this part once, but had to make it like a quick intense 15 seconds and seeing your take after that is so hilarioussss 🤣🤣 The music makes the villain dialogues so awkard and it's so hilarious, not to mention the awesome artstyle that comes with it!!
