    Ingredients:
    2 ripe bananas
    1 tsp sugar
    2 overripe bananas
    1 egg
    1 cup of water (108°F - 115°F)
    1 tsp activated yeast
    4 cups of flour
    1 tsp salt
    Additional flour for dusting
    Instructions:
In a mixing bowl, combine 1 tsp of sugar, 2 overripe bananas (mashed), 1 egg, and 1 cup of warm water (108°F - 115°F).
Add 1 tsp of activated yeast to the mixture and let it sit for 10 minutes.
Mix in 4 cups of flour until the dough comes together. Adjust the amount of flour if needed, depending on the size of your bananas. Start with three cups and add an extra ½ cup to 1 cup if necessary.
Once the dough is mixed, cover the bowl with a cloth and let it rest for 1 hour.
After 1 hour, add ¼ cup of warm water mixed with 1 tsp of salt. Fold in all sides of the dough.
Allow the dough to proof for an additional 30 minutes.
Preheat a Dutch oven to 450°F.
Roll the dough into a ball, using additional flour to prevent sticking.
Cover the dough and let it sit for 30 minutes.
Preheat the Dutch oven at 450°F.
Before baking, create a decorative cross in the middle of the dough.
Place the dough into the preheated Dutch oven and bake with the lid on for 35 minutes.
Remove the lid and bake for an extra 5 to 10 minutes to achieve a golden crust.
Allow the bread to cool for 10 to 20 minutes before slicing.
Enjoy your delicious Banana Artisan Bread!

Did you use bread flour or all purpose flour? Based off of the crumb, it looks like you used bread flour

Can you put the bananas in this recipe overnight, if you want to do a no- knead bread ?

      @JustCookSomething  Рік тому +2

Hmm for overnight, I would put it in the fridge and take it out an hour before I bake.

So I would mix all of the ingredients, and let the dough rise in the refrigerator overnight ?
