Vincent Price is quite an established horror actor, and he states the simple fact of being seen by someone in particular as though he were a stereotypical villain hatching some evil plot. It would've sounded just as funny, maybe even funnier if he'd named an even lower profession, say, "Ahh, observed by... a window washer."
Why is it that the way he says:
"Ahh, observed by... a mariner."
....made me bust out laughing? XD
