Few key reminders for the CIMI System:
CIMI System - name of the platform for new type of AIO devices. There are 3 sizes of tank sections.
CIMI Tank - 12ml tank section. C-1 Compatible.
CIMI Micro Tank - 5ml Tank section. C-1 Compatible.
CIMI Nano Tank - This size had been designed with the idea in mind that the modder can create his own AIO shape for mod and for tank section while only with small chimney change most RBA’s out there will work. A lot of manufactures will start to offer on their lists shorter chimneys also DLC, engraved and so on. Gepetto Flo AIO.
CIMI Sizes are designed with the purpose in mind for each one. CIMI and CIMI Micro will take regular RBA that you did put into your boro mod. You need some part of 510 threading sticking out on the bottom of RBA examples that has been tested with are: Dope, Dope R, Midg, UNKWN OG, All MNCH Bridges, all Hussar bridges), Others are working as well.
C-1 - Hussar made CIMI System Mod.
FLO AIO - Gepetto made CIMI System mod with all custom shapes including the tank section for a comprehensive AIO Device.
    Why CIMI?
Cause in our eyes despite the obvious advantages of Boro devices above other forms it is inherently flawed in a few key aspects.
Bridge concept - making the current flow through much worse connection points as well as a way longer route making loses on performance apparent. For my personal taste every RBA gets a new life with stable connection and you will find something that you did not before.
Inability to build your bridge or device on the mod itself.
    Condensation issues.
Dumping your liquid (you can suck it back into the bottle but isn’t that a bit annoying compared to RTA’s) if you make any mistake on your build. (this issue will be solved with RCA introduction in couple of weeks for current devices)
    What is the future plan?
Introducing RCA concepts that will allow you to keep all your liquid in the tank section while working on the build as well as getting more efficient use of space of CIMI. And since we put it out there so much we are going to develop those bases on C-1 and for CIMI Nano at Gepetto Flo AIO giving our full attention to it.
I am aware about mods being created as of now with CIMI system and i expect quite a few more to join the party soon enough.

There is a lot to say about this, but it would be too long so I will say this...
The idea is brilliant, the capacity is fantastic and the aesthetic of the tank and the cage option is really good too, but if you are already invested in the current system then I think the transition to this is going to be a big one and will cost a lot to move over to this when none of your existing gear will be compatible apart from your bridges that have a built-in 510 connection. I would like to be able to have this type of mod but I am happy with the current system and what I already have.
It does look awesome though doesn't it!
Your presentation and explanation was fantastic and it was good to see how this system works in detail. Thank you Mark ❤️

Coming in as a big boro fan, this is a tough one. There are definitely some apparent advantages to the CIMI. But considering all the mods and boros I own I'm really unsure that i want to make the investment needed to get even close to where I'm at now.. Yes,, it's great to see smart people doing new things, but I'm happy with what I have and at this point can't see that this is a huge improvement where I'd think it was necessary to make the change. That said, hat's off to Hussar.

Wow, just wow. The amount of hours, days, weeks involved in designing this or maybe over a coffee and a vape...
Congratulations to Hussar for thinking of a new system that looks marvellous... love the look, that wheel instead of the top negative contact.... Well Done Hussar !!!🎉

Well done, Mateusz! Great to see innovation especially when it's good innovation like this! Love the 12 ml capacity (don't see much point in the 5 ml over just using regular Boro) and the combined positive/negative contact, making connection with flush nuts occasionally a bit of a pain. That all said, I'm so invested in regular Boro setups I can't see myself getting one but great to see nonetheless. Thanks, buddy - this one was v interesting!

I`ve always been a hugde BB-fan. Got 14 of them. Other brands, in my opinion, have ``just'' made boro handles, in various forms. After all, the innovative work was basically made for them. Here is a product that has been reimagined and that sets new standards and possibilities. So this is one I will definitely have in the collection, at some point. I've been waiting so long for someone to try something new on that front. So big thanks to Hussar for doing that. That was a good and thorough review, Mark. Hope Matheuz sends some chocolate your way.

Kudos to Hussar for producing something new. It took me how many years it is since the first BB til now to get onboard with that system until it's affirdsble enough, so if I'm still kicking in the same period I might get this system 😅
Thank you for another great video as always.

Thanks for review Mark. Yes, it is something new and i always hesitate to buy anything, i have to be sure i "need" it. This system looks smart and the best thing i like about it is that you can make any shape of the mod around it. Summary...i will wait for the mod that is fancy enough to be my likeylikey and i would go for it.😊

been waiting for this one..! very interesting stuff.. very glad to see things like this and the P-tanks..
taking the boro gear to the next level.., thanks for the demonstration
would be neat to see a standard rectangular shape 'boro mod' where the tank actually sits in through the middle of the mod body at a slight angle.. like instead of a straight 90 degree angle,, more like 100 degree.. just a little less than a diagonal.. functionally it might be pointless.., lol, but it would look really different.. maybe even some kind of elbows chimney or drip tip

I jumped in on the second list more out of curiosity of where this new system could go and the innovation of the system in an otherwise stale market.
To state the line from one of my favorites.. It's a bold move Cotton, let's see if it pays off for them. 😊

This is so good to see. Finally, some innovative and some original thinking.
The positive and negative in the 510 is brilliant and should spark loads of novel design and beautiful new mods. The promised stable connection is a big big step forward. The bung is so good, the best ideas are often the simplest ones. You could definitely design a squonk tank for the system too (please, someone….do it!) The mod looks sexy when the cage on the smaller tank is used.
My only slightly churlish con is the exposed battery on the mod.
I was initially surprised to see a vaping god/professional take 33 minutes to review a product, but the detail and explanation is necessary and excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed watching this.
This is really cool. Want ❤

This product makes me respect Hussar in a whole different way. The way I see it is that for the sake of progression, Hussar is willing to take a big chance by doing something different. I want to buy one, not only because they took that risk, but because I had started to lose interest in new vape products, overall. Vape products have become fairly predictable and repetitive because of the times. I have always preferred unique products whenever I am in the market to buy. Anyway, great video. I have been really interested in seeing this one because it's different and original in a lot of ways and it was made to allow for design creativity.

Yeah, I've had to go through my mods to find one that the SturdyOne actually fits on to build it. It's a problem that should have been worked out before they did the second run. Hopefully they also have the mod 510 available for builders. If they have that, I'm ready to get a tank for sure. Like I said before I do see the possibility for a slotted system with a spring loaded contact like the DotAio uses. It's a great start for sure and I'm down for it.

I like the idea. I’ve been thinking about something like this for a while, as I find the top connection for boro tanks a major weak link. However, it seems like developing a whole new system just to accommodate ‘old tech’ RBAs, is a bit backward. Like buying an 8k graphics card and trying to run it via VGA. JMO

I'm struggling to understand how this is not a step back to 510s and tanks, other than it's square. I'm missing something likely. It's interesting, but... why?

  • @davidparr5425
    @davidparr5425 Місяць тому

As an engineer I absolutely love the innovation and wouldn’t have an issue swapping from my Boro tanks as the RBA in my set ups is the important bit. Having said that the cost for the mod and 2 big tanks at nearly €500 (if my adding up is correct) unfortunately is out of my price range at present. I do hope that if it is a hit then this is reduced in the future as it looks like a much better solution. Here’s hoping 😎

@@ToddsReviews i have watched it two times now, i see a few reasons.
The plugs left and right to hold the tank / preventing it from coming loose. That would be an issue with a thinner adapter, or it could be bypassed by having a complete frame-tank like with the original Boro Tank where you can´t pull the deck out with a full Tank like with the atmizoo tank. So it wouldn´t be so user friendly.
Another would be Airflow which could be solved with the "510 Nut" having holes drilled into from the side and maybe slots at the top of the threading so that rba`s could get their air from underneath the collar, if they need to.
      BUT!!!👇👇👇
The adapter also has a good safety reason. Because it prevents, or at least limits, the amount of E-Juice & Condensate which would have the potential to seep into the mod. That would be a higher risk with the RBA screwed on directly.
The Adapter also decouples the RBA from the motion of the "510 Nut" which could twist the RBA inside the Tank. Similar to twisting the RBA when screwing down the intergrated driptip on Boro Mods.
So yeah it has it´s own benefits and the 1-2ml more capacity without the adapter would´t be that much of a difference when you allready have the huge 12ml Capacity.
Hope i didn´t do any wrongdoing with my Question 😬😅👍
