I bought an Ava P57 on your recommendation, it’s a great machine. As you say, they’ve thought of everything. I find it uses a sensible amount of product on setting 6 (300ml does one car, 5L water used, at 1:1 in the bottle, aiming for 3% PIR).
Ava are really a unique company. Have you seen their new bucket? Its a bucket. How can you innovate a bucket? Well they have. But my £1 Halfords green one is much much cheaper. Still, they've innovated a bucket!
Having bought the new MJJC cannon. Even with the Karcher adaptor it doesn’t lock on the AVA gun so it swings about when your using it. It’s also very heavy and the fan adjustment it to critical. So I bought the new AvA cannon your featuring and what a difference. Way lighter and works just as good at the MJJC.
I have the same issue with the MJJC on my AVA trigger . It locks on reasonably well , but because of the quick release it's like a swing on the end of the gun . Not had the MJJC very long , but I can see the AVA being on the must have list very soon

I bought a Easy P57 last week and the premium kit as well. I have only used it once but it was brilliant. I used one bottle to sprat Autoglym Polar Blast, then one bottle to spray Polar Wash and the the final bottle to spray Polar Seal. It was so easy to use and I was able to prepare all three bottles before I started.
I’m so impressed with the AVA brand. I’ve recently changed my K5 for the Evolution P60 for home use and I love it. Winning this premium Snow Cannon on an insta comp has been the icing on the cake!! 😁

@@epicautomotivedetailing as you say the base for stability, wide neck makes so much sense . get some ice and use one as a cup in this heat too. I am thinking maybe worth looking into one
Glad you didn't fall and break your neck otherwise where else would we get decent Valeting/Detailing videos like this 😂 And as for my favourite snow foam.... at the moment I'm using autobrite snow foam, mainly due to it being 250ml of soap to 750 ml of water and that 1litre will cover 2 cars easily and its really thick so doesn't fall off the car unlike others.
I've been using polar blast for the past few months and never found it to be that effective against road film even when trying lots of different ratios. I found myself applying Bilt Hamber Surfex HD at a 5 - 10% ratio to the body work to give the snow foam extra cleaning power. Surfex can also be used as a tyre and alloy wheel cleaner at this dilution. I have also been using the AG UHD shampoo to compliment this, which is a nice product. As I've run out of the polar blast, I've ordered Bilt Hamber auto wash and auto foam. I find their products just work.
@@mudguardrider8211 so auto foam is better? I've just got the auto wash and was considering auto foam but it is a bit more expensive (it is 5l but I don't think I need that much unless it is a much better product)
@carsgonewrong746 If you're new to snow foams, then maybe stick to the polar blast for now as it's easier to calculate. Or try Auto Glanz Spritzer. It's a nice snow foam with very good cleaning ability. Autoglym recommended 200ml of product to 800ml of water. Bilt Hamber recommends working out the PIR (panel impact ratio) to calculate the snow foam. Essentially, fill the snow foam bottle with just water, then empty it into a measuring jug through the pressure washer. Once empty, calculate how much water was given through the snow foam lance to work out your PIR. Then calculate how much product is required. Remember, never apply snow foam or wash your car in direct sunlight or when the panels are hot.
Have you tried those battery powered jet wash guns that you put in a bucket? If so, which is your best option for people that live in flats or are not able to access a mains water tap to jet wash the car?
I used a battery karcher but it was the £1500 model lol. It was good to be fair. I would get a collapsible water butt from a garden centre and take it downstairs to the cleaning area and fill it up as pressure washers use little water in reality
Used this today with a k4, and a vario lance which is what comes with the karcher by default, but didn't work as expected, I tried the AVA on 6, then just went to 9, but was more shooting out in a straight line rather than spraying, do I need a different lance?
I never got the hype over quick releases. They're no quicker than a quarter turn of the nozzle, and they're much more prone to not being seated properly, and the nozzle can fly off when you pull the trigger, and I wouldn't want that to be hitting a car.
