You can SS him from guild shop but you usually want to prioritize the hypertune materials. When can we pair transcendants and constructs? Is it this update?
Roland has gotten to be my most anticipated character when I first saw his playstyle, especially his Bloodborne vibe from his weapon.
Its literally the Beast cutter + blunderbuss
Sadly he is only good during his patch

I might consider getting him just to complete my Transcendant team if I have the spare BC (Only started playing around Luna's patch so I missed Qu). Otherwise, I'm saving for Liv's and Nanami's new frame.

For those who are going to pull for his 5 star weapon it sucks he seems rough to play
So go for 6 star,or you can experience his 5 star weapon first so you don't over invest.
Who in the right mind would pull for a 5★ weapon when you can just grind for them through co-op or returning player reward lol

Thanks for the guide! Will definitely pull him to complete my transcendent team (S Camu, 3S Selena). Only question is whether to get him at S or 3S for transcendent content.
The moveset kit of Roland is very unique than other transcend (construct tho)
Roland seems to me like a deranged mixture of Kratos and the Joker.

When is the patch that lets us use transcendants in construct teams? I feel they'd be a lot more useful if we could get that soon.

I think they get a debuff of 30%, i don't know if transcendants + construct really worth it...
Would it be recommended to have him be the one to use in warzone on fire days if you basically don't have a fire team? Since you said he has short time off field it seems like it wouldn't be much of an issue. I know the common thing too is to just use Ice team, or even physical as it will yield similar results.
Full invested elemental teams will still be better for now.

Ya in trying to play the curtain rises event. I can do it just fine with my crocotta and tempest. But the gifted flambeau seems to suck really hard. Or I just don't know how to use him.... could someone make a video of him against harder content... the petogora queen would be most helpful.

Would Roland S rank alone surpass Karerina ember fire team all in S rank for fire content? Both with 4* weap. Gonna pull for Roland anyway but dont know if worth building Ember
Fire team isn't really relevant compared to other elemental or physical teams. Roland himself can't carry fire by himself. Fire team needs liv amp next patch.
I'm thinking Roland will be a hard one due to how very hard it is for me. To understand his combos and skills because theirs so many change over time. That I might reboot my brain

Characters with close attacks aren't my thing I love s bianca with the bow the play style is 👌

Why get yellow orb resonance? It sounds like red orb is the one you want to spam based on the rest of the video/multipliers
Yellow has a lowkey broken stun and the damage comes out a bit faster.

Hey question to anyone, haven't played in a long ass time (Since Lightning Bianca came out) and I was wondering if I should get some of the characters that are out rn or if I should wait for a new character and build around them.

Either. Due to 100% rateup on debut patches, its generally recommended to pull copies for the debut unit on said patch. With transcendants they dont go away but you run the risk of losing the 80/20 and potentially getting a transcendant you dont need to rank up or arent aiming for. Tldr: base + 5 copies from gacha and the 30 shards from guild shop gives you SSS

So basically Kuro decided to make a construct without the orb rng. Like how most hack and slash games are, they have multiple skills that they can use whenever they like that is limited by cool down. What a fresh air. I'm set, I won't skip this clown.
So how come Yellow Orb Resonance is recommended over Red Orb when Red Orb seems to have higher damage?

For WZ and PPC, how does he compare to post-buff S+ Palefire with 5* wep? Assuming S Liv + S Nanamech as the other team members. I'm thinking of getting Roland to SSS w/ 6* wep cause he's fun to play but i'm unsure if it's worth the BC since Lee is already close to S+ for me.
Unfortunately Liv and nanamech will be so strong that the 3rd member will probably be davinci bot, in this case probably lee. Using roland would mean liv or nanamech would have to hold 4 davinci.

When you say remove dodge cooldown, does that mean we activate matrix with every dodge?
no, more like you can continuously dodge.
@@Spider2B why does your stamina gauge still deplete though? I don't remember there being a cooldown between dodges other than triggering matrix? I'm so sorry for not understanding
ok I think I get it now???? TIL that you have to let your character finish their dodge animation before doing another one. with his 6-star weapon we can dodge in mid-animation? is that how it works? it just never occurred to me that it's referred to as a cooldown 👁👄👁
@@Akihiko-senpai there is a cooldown of a second or two if you do 2 dodges in a row. Roland's 6* removes that.

so i played this game because I found out that selena is available in asia pacific i grinded so I can open trans banners only to find out that construct and trans cannot team up, what should i do now?

Yes but nanamech and Liv amp do more damage so it's a waste since one of them needs to hold 4 dv.

sure, Qu's kinda one of the worst transcendants out there (in CN). Great design, but her gameplay is kinda bad, and so is her damage.
i dont think i can spend any right now since S lee is kinda near and of course the new S alpha to save for.

I recycled enough for all six of his stigmata, but what if I only have his starting 4* weapon? There's no way to get a 5* weapon much less his signature..
4 star doesn't really do enough damage unfortunately

Pale fire buff will compete with him since roland is dependent on the player mastery being the complex character that he is. Both overshadows karenina ember. You will use him as part of fire team when construct become playable with transcendent

And also he's obtainable in trascendants gacha and never removed
At this point in the game, nier isnt viable much. A2 is almost useless even at SSS considering physical teams dont get powerboosted until much later into the games lifespam so other teams will dominate physical content
@@ReBOOting_YT they are still viable in tower of babel but pretty useless in PPC/WARZONE because of the sluggish gameplay of each nier character, and yes they don't get "POWERBOOSTED" and they are easy to beat with other physical teams.
Buffed Rosetta and liv luminance impactful to the point where 2b can leave nier and actually function as a physical dps option. Granted she has signature weapon and at least ss rank

@@Kramer_. in terms of content He gets replaced by the reworked Fire God A Lee/Liv Solaeter then True Fire God Lee Overburn/Hyperreal. But even with those Roland easily solos content easy so he's reliable at any stage

Looks like I need him but also at the same time I'm not. I mean, I also got SSS-Lee fire, S-Karenina(all of them hv 6 star weapon probably my lucky since my fav a bianca) for my fire team. Probably enough already to beat Roland at fire warzone. But I also need him coz I need to complete my transcends team. 😤
Pale fire is close in power to sss roland when he gets his buff so just get roland for collection and ss him with guild currency. Karenina is weaker than both

@@Humanity_2002 notice I said when he get his buff. If roland isn't sss with weapon the pale fire sss at that point is strongest fire attacker until hyperreal. You can use the guild shards to ss roland no need to spend bc to ss him after the first copy.
