    Another great video! Do you get a lot of bulk traded in to you, and what do you do with the bulk that's been picked through? Professional curiosity

      We're not so big to where we just take all bulk. When people ask, we let them know that it just depends on what it is, so we'll ask them to bring it in so we can make an offer, if we are infact interested. I won't blindly buy bulk unless I know it's from older eras. I ask customers to bring it in and we can make an offer depending on what it is that they have.... cuz at this point, people are offering to donate modern bulk cuz they need it gone. So when we do a quick check and can tell it's picked though, we just won't buy it.

    What do you do with the bulk of the bulk? All the ones you skipped from the buld box you looked through?

      Sits in a box until hopefully something becomes playable..lol will get to listing some of that stuff down the line, but fortunately in a spot where we don't need to focus on the small stuff currently. We really don't list much of anything under $1 ... Definitely don't list anything under 25 cents.

    How is that $1800 all profit? Did I miss something? We are about to hit level 4 but still down a like a thousand bucks

    • @EliteGameSpot1
      @EliteGameSpot1  2 роки тому

      That was 1800 in sales before fees, $1600 after fees. Joshua was just referring to the $ you are able to put back into the business, I believe he uses the words: "profit you can put back into the business" which isn't an incorrect statement, but he not referringto 100% profit. But of the 1600, in our case, a good chunk is profit. But if you are just cracking packs and reselling your extras... you probably won't ever hit profit unless you get super lucky with some big pulls. Most people selling are not making "profit" they are selling from home just getting some of their $ back on extras or cards they don't want. So I also hate the words "profit" here, or "net sales" as neither are really accurate - ture profit will not come from selling on tcgplayer unless you have an engine to bring in singles with out cracking packs. Examples: Trade in's, or buying collections - we do both.

      Don't forget about supplies, envelopes, stamps, penny sleeves, top loaders.

    Wait until you talk to your accountant on how to do taxes on selling singles. (As a lvl 4 seller myself, this was not cool) lol

      Who's your accountant? Lol. How's it any different than buying/selling any other product? You have revenue, a cost, and either a profit or a loss after costs and deductions. 🤔
