Amazing collection and wonderful to see them all... I would love an update video!
This is the next step up the ladder for me lol
Thanks for that video brother ❤ magnifique !!!!
What beautiful and enchanting plants! I hadn't seen their flowers yet! It's neat to learn more about these pitchers, they grow in such different conditions from most other carnivorous plants. I've read they are more difficult so I haven't tried to buy one yet. Maybe someday I will get one of your heterodoxa!
Also, every time I watch your videos, I love to pause occasionally and let my eyes rove over the background. There's so much to look at!
Very beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
Extremely impressive and gorgeous collection! I’ve found that the roots on my Helis easily grow to 15, 20, 25+ centimetres though (with the exception of species like minor and pulchella). Also, we need that pulchella x tatei hybrid in Europe - it’s just stunning! 😍
instablaster.
Gosh I could just live there
can you pls do a guide on how to grow and will you guys sell heliamphora minor x hedarox
Four feet of rain; are you in the northern half of the state?? Lol. I'm on the border - San Diego - we get closer to 4" a year I bet. Jk. Haha. I don't even know the actual measurement. There have been several recent years where we got exceptionally high amounts of rain; so much that the depleted snowpack was replenished in the mountains... but wow I'd have such a better garden w four feet of rain a year. The last time it rained here was at least six months ago.
I tried a few times to grow these in Singapore; temperature ranges from 25 to 32 degree Centigrade; but never successful. I know it likes cooler temperature, but I m sure California's summer is also very hot too. Any tips for me ???
We keep them next to a swamp cooler to keep them very cool. They don’t get exposed to temps over 85F and are kept in cool, humid air. That really helps a great deal! In our area we also get a night time drop in temperatures reliably, even on very hot days.
Do you know about how long a seeding minor should take to mature? Mine while not in ideal conditions, is three years old and is still producing juvenile pitchers
I dont know, but I do know that tissue culture chemicals give the plants a giant boost, so thats probably how they can breed plants faster.
I'd like to try to grow these one year. Sarracenias are easy ,these seem to have to be in a more controlled environment ,well to where I live most definitely, wv winters aren't to harsh but definitely would kill these out door ,
Heliamphora are so beautiful but they are tricky to grow; they don’t want to get too hot or too cold so we keep them cool and in lots of humidity.
Great video, thank you for sharing. I live in San Bernardino County, CA. It's extremely hot over here so I am trying to find 6 inch or larger WHITE SQUARE POTS and WHITE WATER TRAYS. Any idea where I can find some good ones.
Try Greenhouse Megastore!
Fantastic plants, but I don’t think I can grow these, or any high-altitude plants. Where I live, we have some days in the 90s F even in winter. And in summer, some days are over 100 F, and even nights are hotter than these plants would like.
Unfortunately these plants really do need a lot of cold so they wouldn’t be happy in your area but lowland Nepenthes would do well!
Why haven’t you sell heliamphora seeds yet?
We don’t plan on selling Heliamphora seeds as we use all of ours for propagation 😊
There's not a fly to be seen🧐
20 FRIGGING YEARS?! would you even sell this baby to a private collector?!
We might divide up our Heliamphora when we re-pot and then sell divisions. If we do, we’d announce that in our newsletter 😄
Wish I could grow one!
I know this is old but yes u can, just look for minor, heterodoxa, or their hybrids, I acclimated my minor to my ambient humidity which ranges from 25% to 60%, and as long as u give them a misting they'll do awesome:)
@@infamoushiphop7943 These are still a bit of a mystery to me. Years ago i had a hybrid that was doing really well for a couple of years on my windowsill, until it just stopped and died. Recently got another one, it's in my highland nepenthes setup so it should probably do better.
Anyone who have seed can you give me😁😁😁
Y is everyone in this hobby gay???? :(((
Good taste? 😉
My friend says it is because most of the plants look like big 🍆 I say who cares. The plants are cool and this dude is smart as hell
