- In the lead-up to the NFL Draft, the prospect of the Dallas Cowboys selecting running back Blake Corum is gaining traction, and a comprehensive film study provides valuable insights into whether he should be the team's pick. Here are the key takeaways from the film study:
Explosive Speed and Agility: Corum's film showcases his exceptional speed and agility, making him a potential game-changer in the Cowboys' backfield. His ability to accelerate quickly and change direction with precision could add a dynamic dimension to the team's running game.
Versatility in Running and Receiving: Analyze how Corum's versatility as both a runner and receiver out of the backfield aligns with the Cowboys' offensive strategy. His dual-threat capability could make him a valuable asset in various play designs.
Consistency and Durability: Highlight Corum's consistency in performance and durability throughout his college career, emphasizing how these traits could contribute to a reliable and stable presence in the Cowboys' backfield.
Fit with Offensive Line: Discuss how Corum's running style complements the strengths of the Cowboys' offensive line, considering factors like blocking schemes and run-blocking techniques.
As the Cowboys evaluate their draft options, the film study suggests that Blake Corum could be a compelling choice to address the team's running game needs. If selected, Corum has the potential to inject speed, versatility, and reliability into the Dallas Cowboys' offense, offering a promising solution for the upcoming season.

Who are ya'll favorite running backs in this years class? ... lets see if ya'll been in the lab 🧙🏾
Bro your breakdown on This guy is more making the case for reasons not to draft him.. I hope this guy the best but idt he will be much behind our debilitated OLine!! We need run big back yeah .. but there is a glaring factor why we didn’t have success running this season.. it all starts up front .. out guys can’t run block for shit.. oLine /TE alike they can’t run block !! We need to address that problem !!! TP Will be healthy and Rico can run .! They need better run strategy , My opinion Go CBoyZ
B allen Wisconsin
Not him
I like Irving from Oregon or Davis from KY.
@@mr.rightantwanmyers Have you watched any of Wisconsins games or just highlights? I have watched all Badgers games for the last 20 years. Allen isn’t that guy. He will be an average NFL player at best. Not taking a shot at him because he’s a great kid and I hope I am 100% wrong. He’s not even close to the Jonathan Taylor category. More in the Ron Dane category.
Dallas needs linemen on both sides of the ball, this should be the focus of this draft, free agent running backs are good enough, control the line of scrimmage controls the game, if Dak learns how to respond in big games offense will be fine
I agree
No hell no too small
Yeah we need either Audric, Trey, or Braelen
Emmitt smith was small broke the rushing record. Barry sanders was small and was hard to tackle. You can’t tackle what you can’t catch.
Emmitt smith is around the same height as Blake Corum but if we pair Henry with Corum it’ll be lethal I want Henry and Corum or Henry and Benson
@@ancapgrandscribe9546 yes Bradley Allen from the BADGERS 6-3 245
Homie he would lay you out any day so keep dreaming. He is a brutal lad. Fast asf and strong as hell.
We already got Deuce
They opposite players but i feel what you saying
@@CFOSports true but I think we need to go LB,DT,OL, or WR in the draft I think if we go RB we need a pass blocker/ 3rd down back
@731Reg, hopefully, we get Henry to go with pollard and Deuce, agree with your other needs, we also need a Center, I heard nate Newton say on TV 📺 that we gotta get more out of our center position. Oregon has a 6-4 335 pound center but will probably be gone by the time we select
He got an amazing jump cut too, i’m very excited to see him in the future!!
Go blue Michigan 💙
He’s not big enough for my liking, I like all my backs atleast 5’10. How ever I wouldn’t be mad if we got him.
If we have to question anything we don't need it remember we want a super bowl
1 Cut back... check... plays big game ball... check.... gets in the end zone... check... good vision... check... solid pick... could have better hands..
Great breakdown!🔥🤝
Thanks bro
I like Blake a lot, but I got my eye on Ray Davis from Kentucky in round 3. Ray is a dawg who also is one of the best pass catching RB'S in this draft. Ray had 1,129 yards rushing on 199 carries/ 14 rushing TD'S/ 33 receptions for 323 yards and 7 TD'S. I also like Braelon Allen/ Audric Estime/ Cody Schrader. I have a late round sleeper in Isaac Guerendo from Louisville, he might be the next Isaiah Pacheco. The kid is mostly unknown at the moment but that will change come his pro-day.
I gotta agree with you. Ray might be the best choice if Cowboys don't take and RB in the 3rd.
@@zylophone4840 I know Ray won't last until any later than the late 4th. I am hoping we somehow trade back and get a 4th round pick. I do like Braelon Allen, Audric Estime, Dillon Johnson, Jaylen Wright as well.
What I like about Corum is his vision and patience, his ability to set up his blocks. Reminds me of Emmitt Smith in that regard, People seem to forget that Emmitt was elite at vision , patience and setting up blocks. Remember Emmitt was too slow, to small , couldnt be a home run hitter. Im not saying he is Emmitt but Emmitt was 5'9 215ish . Similar size to Emmitt but i dont think he has the low end power /thighs Emmitt had.
You know funny you say that he's very emmitt like but i wasnt gonna say it cause I aint want to hear peoples mouth 😂
A little question, how do you get the end zone views??
I'm probably biased being a michigan fan, but I've noticed that in every big game he showed up as well
Every big game he showed up no questions asked
It’s the injuries for me
Y’all really think Jerry finna take another 5’5 guy?? Dude could be a HOF guy and we wouldn’t get him. I’m fine with it too
They should take the Denver approach when it comes to RB back in the day. They invested in OL, CB, etc. Remember when they traded Portis for Champ Bailey? Who would do that in the NFL right now? They would be out of their minds! If we keep investing in OL our RB will look even better. All he needs to be is decent to above average. I’m looking at Ray Davis, Laube, Irving, Allen, or Wright. Maybe Shipley on day 3 if they fall.
Emmitt Smith is who reminds me of
No! You need to scout Marshon Lloyd. That dude is Barry Sanders 2.0...wait for it!
We need a run stopper, we need Byron Murphy II.
We'll talk DT next week
Would love him and Sainristil in Dallas
DC4L 🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋
Tony Pollard, quietest 1,000 yard season ever.
It was
Michigan fan blake is good do think he benefited from michigan line😊
I hope we get Trey Benson or Jonathan Brooks. They BOTH would be great additions.
I wanna see us get Braelon Allen
As a starter, no, he'll just be another Tony Pollard. We need to draft Braelon Allen. He will be the next Derrick Henry in the NFL
We have DV
Deuce?
pass. draft trey benson.
Jackson powers
TVondre Sweat
James Williams
Audric Estime
Tommy Elchenberg
Brevyn Spann-Ford
Dominique Hamton
Brennan Jackson
Blake Corum is Deuce Vaughn but 3" taller. That's it. Cowboys already have Deuce. Pass on Blake Corum.
You already got one small running back we don't need another one we don't need the one we got
i like ray davis more
I want estime..
Deuce Vaughn was better than him and hes our 4th string RB lol
Too small and Michigan - 2 strikes
His back up Donavon Edwards is better
Yes bigger and faster I saw him have some break away runs for Michigan over the last 2 seasons ,great point
Not only is he too small, but nothing outta Michigan has worked for us, answer is absolutely NO!!
no shot. Braelon Allen is a way better option. Short running backs will not do it.
Stay away from Michigan picks
No more Michigan overrated underperforming in the NFL players please!
K
Braelen Allen and Audric Estime. Corum is not NFL caliber not even close.
Stop drafting players from Michigan... for some reason they don't work out... SOME...
He won’t be there at 24
Yea he too small
We got Deuce Vaughn in development already.
No
No no no. Too small
Cowboys should not draft any more Michigan players...
