When you showed the Pinterest inspo pics (must have been 50 or more on the screen) I immediately saw the checkerboard pavers and said out loud, “Oooohh that’s pretty!” And then you scrolled your mouse over to the same picture and clicked it. I laughed and shouted to my girlfriend “See!!?! I’m not crazy!” (It’s ok, she has more than enough confirmation that I am, in fact, nuts) Thank you for this amazing informative video. I’m already dreaming of my future greenhouse and your videos have proven I can do it myself. So much love!
Janey I’m so glad you and the boys are doing all this work so we can watch it being done. I watch another you tuber that moved and everything was done for her. That kind of defeats the point if you ask me.

Here in central WI (aka tundra land) January is a complete halt to any gardening options. So, to be able to watch this project transpire this time of year is an absolute treat. This greenhouse is going to look fabulous! You guys have done the job right!

The flooring you picked was a great idea! Videos of foundation forming are great instructional aids. Course, having a knowledgeable father giving instructions and advice is wonderful father/daughter time. The boys and you make a good team.
Love the look of the floor, but functionally, I don’t think I would like the uneven surface. I’ll be curious how it “works” out
I would have gone with different color pavers.
I would think that it will be a challenge keeping the gravel off of the pavers.. However I like the design in theory, a classic look.
It is truly starting to take form and show signs of a work of art . Jackie😊❤
For my greenhouse, they used a cement frame on the base rather than a slab, and I really am a fan. When I got possession of the house, i pulled up all the pavers, dug up the soil, and laid new soil on the ground. In the next few weeks, I will be reinstalling a brand new roof. This summer, I am going to be growing the most amazing items, and hopefully, into the winter. Great job on your flooring!

Very pretty Janey but I would worry that your furniture legs would not be as stable on the gravel area. I know you've probably already researched all about it so I'm sure it will be fine. Can't wait for the finished product.

Really brilliant to do all the prep on the flooring before greenhouse install. Can you imagine going thru the door... You can reuse your wood to make more seed tables too. It's so exciting.

I never was that crazy about the far away location for a pool. I like the greenhouse there with the gardens in front but you could always take away a few of the garden beds closest to the house in say 5+ years you said you got cheaper ones anyway and put in a small pool. It would be interesting to know how you re-invision the layout. I like the idea of consulting with an expert and making a master plan but I always figured that there would be some changes. Sometimes you get a good deal on something or see something on Pinterest that you can’t pass up. Just curious. I expect the finished product will be 70% master plan but not surprised if 30% gets changed due to unknown opportunities.
