How To Fix After Effects Lagging (Fix Lag in AE)

In today's quick guide I talk about how to fix after effect lagging as well as fix lag in AE and finally stop lagging in Adobe after effects.
I use Adobe After Effects for my video editing. Because I make a lot of videos, sometimes I notice a lagging effect in the program which can make it very hard and frustrating to import files, scrub the timeline or render out my final video.
Going into preferences and cleaning your disk cache and database is a great way to increase performance on after effects and I recommend doing this every month or so depending on your project file sizes and when you last performance this maintenance.
