Im slowly realizing just how many scenarios that debuff remover is useful. Not just for bebop double bomb, but for infernus afterburn after you win the 1v1, tether, stuns. It generally shuts down most CC (excluding Kelvin beam cause thats fresh hell) along with damage over time from Infernus
I play Kelvin. Debuff remover works. You get a few moments of breathing room but need to get out of line of sight fast. Remover and fleetfoot with smart escape plans underground makes it harder to chase.
they increased the delay before sleep activates, so you can parry a sleep dagger with debuff remover you need to press it right after you hear the sleep dagger sound
For Abrams debuff reducer is a lot better than reactive barrier. Debuff reducer lowers his stuns enough that you can parry before he gets a charged melee attack off and it has no cooldown. Reactive barrier will be ok early game but the shield doesn't scale up and it won't even be enough shield to tank a single charged melee from an Abrams with just 2 melee items, and it has a 30 second cooldown. Debuff reducer also can be upgraded later for an extra 5% effect, more health, 20% weapon damage, and an active that outright removes any negative effects and gives a large movement speed stim (the largest available since fleetfoot and heroic aura were nerfed.)
@@AverageJonas Yeah even then it is better to just get debuff reducer so you can always parry, buying both is a lot of money spent on just defense in lane and debuff reducer is a way better value
7:30 actually infernus ult hard counters dynamos. If you activate infernus ult then run into the vortex it will activate while your getting pulled in and cancel his entire ult
What? No. If you use infernus ult after reacting to dynamo's ult,it's already too late because of the windup time. His ult is almost over, if not completely done. You have to use it before, but no dynamo with more than 1 braincell will ult when he hears infernus ult
@Holfus I get that but I've done it a couple times. Pop ult and dash into a team fight just to wind up stuck to a dynamo, then have my ult cancel his. It's just lucky timing but it's a thing
Shiv main here. Antiheal is a great counter but since I build for the dash and not the knives I’m less worried about it. My build lets me burst down people in seconds starting around 22k. The one thing that you can always do to shut down Shiv is to silence or stun lock him. If I can’t use my abilities my gun is good but I can’t burst you. Also, I can’t tell you how many times before I made this build I would have a wraith ult stun lock me and kill me in seconds before I could do anything. That’s how you kill good Shivs. Stuns are your best friends and secondary you silence him. Those things are true for all hero’s though so it’s kind of a no brainer.
One thing to also keep in mind for countering Infernus is that a lot of his damage comes from him shooting you. Fire rate slows like Suppressor can help stem the bleeding (Fire-ing?) and shut him out of lane in the early game.
After this, I would really appreciate if you did an in-depth video on how to play around these counters as the respective hero facing them. For instance, as an Infernus main, the debuff remover feels like such a hard counter to my characters entire gimmick, and it would be nice to see some content from that perspective of the countered hero.

Another big tip for McGinnis is to buy Monster Rounds early. You will deal more damage to her turrets and take less damage from her turrets. Its very nice.
toxic bullets combos great with spirit debuffs, having bullet resist shredder and mystic slow with toxic is really good. itemize right and your spirit items will improve your gun as well as your abilities.
There are some heroes that cannot kill you if you have enchanter's barrier or combat barrier on lane, fx Kelvin and bebop will struggle to pop enchanter's barrier (and potentially combat barrier), making these items kind of counter them on lane. Any hero that struggles to deal 300 magic damage in less than 20 seconds on lane struggles vs enchanter's barrier.
When laning against Yamato, her main damage comes from fully channeled 1 and she has two ways to do that: dash towards you while channeling; or channel behind a short wall and jump up from the wall at the end of the channel. Second tip is that her 2 gets way more range on rank two (she will max out 1 first), so be ready for the sudden range increase in mid-game.
Channelling 1 behind a wall only works with certain walls that are short enough. It's a tech rather than a feature. You usually cannot jump when channeling.
This is a really great breakdown of the direct counters and laning; however, I'm struggling how to adapt or change the counters moving into the mid and late game where other characters become more dominant and less so the one I am laning against. Would love to see someone with your understanding of the game to push a vid showing how to adapt builds for the enemy team build moving into mid and late game. Great content as always!
debuff remover is great and the 1250 version is 30% dmg reduction against spirit based dots like infernus and pocket, combined with spirit armor it can negate the damage of a ton of dot based builds until later in the game

It would be so helpful if you made a video on how you double bomb so quickly (what items you have on quickcast, your button presses for the hook combo, your button presses for the self bomb combo, etc). I am struggling to get all the abilities off quick enough to consistently hit the hook, uppercut, bomb, echo shard, bomb and the selfbomb, echoshard, selfbomb, warp stone combos quickly like you do in your streams. If you put out a guide on your button presses, and any tips and tricks. I watched the bbop guide but didnt see anything about these combos. it would be super helpful for bbop newbs like me. I would absolutely like and comment on the video for the algorithm as well. If anyone else would find this helpful, like this comment so he hopefully sees it. One item “counter” for paradox is warp stone, since it’s a teleport you can use it after getting hit with Kinetic Carbine and dodge her Ult, and it also can bypass the wall if she uses it defensively.
@@bullatognya5480 the misconception is that getting hit with the carbine is a time stop when really it’s just a very extreme time slow, that means doing something like an instant blink from warp stone still works completely.
The best way to counter Ivy is to shut her down early. She needs a lot of souls to get online (like 20-25k) but when she does she is very strong. If you can roam around enemy camps/steal farm you can shut her down early. Also getting urn vs an Ivy is very important because if you don’t get it first, she will. If you can gank/beat Ivy in the laning stage she usually can’t come back unless her team is carrying her through the mid game

The problem with haze is that she heals all her hp back in 2 seconds so even if i silence her and melt her to like 10 hp the moment she start to fire you just dead i dont know why exactly but the healing on her is super strong and make her unkillable

be careful using metal skin to counter haze, 2 items jonas didnt mention is shadow weave and spirtual overflow these are the next 2 items she will grab both items increase her ult time drastically and increase fixation dmg like crazy. if you do use metal skin pop it and GTFO do NOT try and ego chal her i recommend warp stone because it has so many other uses as well do not try and use abilities on haze, dont try and kill her just GET OUT
Shiv is broken as shit still.. well yeah he CAN be killed if you dedicate your whole build and your teams build to kill him but yeah that makes him broken as shit. And he will curb stomp anyone in lane until you get 10k worth of antiheal

Conveniently forgot to mention etherial shift against bebop, ok i smell ya. It can even prevent you from getting hooked if you react fast enough.

Debuff remover has a cooldown, your afterburn and toxic bullets does not. Hope this helps! :) Try to bait them out

Mc. Turretlady also cannot engage targets in their face while using their ult, so movement items to get in close and personal could be useful as well
