Aslam walakium. Ramadan Mubarak to all my brothers and sisters striving for Allah's mercy and blessings. Mutah, thank you for your contributing, ahki. You and amir muhadith inspired me to take shahada and accept islam by the will of allah Swt. Please make dua for me. My mother just died on the 2nd, and i have nothing, living with my sister. Your story about you staying with your brother is a reminder, ahki.

My shaykh told me the prophet abraham didnt search for God, he knew about Allah. His question "Is this my God?" is not asking but a way of rejecting his people who are worshipping the sun and moon (sometimes we also do this approach by changing our intonation). May Allah bless you.

Great interview! It's incredible to see former successful rappers/musicians such as Mutah beale (FKA Napoleon) and Amir Muhadith (FKA Loon) to not only leave their multi million dollar music careers/music industry but to also stop listening music. Not many people are aware but most rappers/musicians rap/sing about the conditions that they grewup in/live in. They are sometimes even kept in these conditions systematically so that they can make music of their struggles and how they were able to get out. Therefore, for some, music is like a guidance on how to live, get out of poverty, get women and eventually become successful. This is where music becomes dangerous. Instead of only getting guidance from divine literature such as the Quran, people are mislead from the righteous path and eventually never find happiness, peace or tranquility even if they have made millions or billions from the industry.
For someone, who didn't grow up on listening to music or watching TV, music or entertainment was never seen as guidance. Coming from a War torn country, my parents put alot of emphasis on education and religion which left very little time for music/entertainment. Alhamdulilah, that meant that we had a solid foundation to not be mislead from the righteous path. Therefore, music was never seen as a guidance but as a good mood enhancer only. I never read lyrics, as long as a song wasn't cussing back to back and it had a great voice/beat it was fine with me. The only times I read lyrics was when a J. Cole song caught my attention or when a line was trending to see what the hype was all about. When I really started looking into lyrics was when a previous halal relationship ended and my significant other at the time thought that we should get back together because two very well known artist who have broken up got back together at the time. For the life of me, I could not understand where the correlation of those artists and our relationship was. That's when I really started reading lyrics and created online platforms to show people on how to listen to music but not be misguided by it. Some have benefitted but others not so much. Even if the foundation of the person listening is solid, it can affect those around them and misguide them. Therefore, in my opinion anyone listening to music and/or watching entertainment must have a solid foundation on the religion and never use music/entertainment as a guidance. Guidance only comes from Allah through his divine literature, the Quran, and Sunnah of the Prophet Mohamed (pbuh). Also, in today's world of streaming supporting good music/entertainment (i.e. Awakening Records) is vital as it encourages artist to make good entertainment. Another thing that I have discovered throught this journey is music/entertainment is used to stimulate the economy and encourage spending. Break ups, divorces and new relationship all encourage spending. As Muslims, we don't have to go through break ups or divorces to spend money on our families, support local business and stimulate the economy. As the Prophet (Pbuh) said "When A Muslim spends something on his wife/family to recieve Allah's reward it is regarded as sadaqa for him". However, overspending or Israf is also prohibited in Islam. Therefore, there should be a balance on spending and saving.

Salam alaikum wah rahmatuLlah jzkl for this content my advice to you my dear brothers would be to put in the description below the video all the "chapters" if it make sense of this itw. Im at 44min and the financial advices are not there yet. I think as viewers it would be more easy to digest a 2hours video by having the possibility to directly to different "chapters" in the video (Im french sorry for my english haha) and may Allah reward you for your great work ! Ameen - Salam
