I just wanted to point out something... even though shay didnt upload a vlog, if you listen to what he said in the endslate he wanted to spend time with his family which is totally understandable BUT he said "i got some really good snow footage" so even tho he was spending time with his family and having fun he was still getting footage for US to watch, he was still thinking about US! shay loves his viewers and people saying that he doesnt care anymore are wrong because its so clear that he does! :)

There are tons of daily vloggers you could watch that vlog their families, and most of them are young families as well. For example, you could watch ItsJudysLife, Sacconejoly, AprilJustinTV, etc.
This isn't hate! I just want to give out my opinion. I think that Shay should have a better excuse for not vlogging.... He gets to spend weeks in Florida come back home go skiing, hang out with his family, this is his job. We love him, we enjoy his content. At the same time you see CTFxC daily vlogging for six years and they went through hell, from the divorce, and the drama, he's even on tour uploading vlogs, and even on chemo. I don't know I feel like Shay just wants to stop vlogging because he has money now, it's probably not true, but he comes off like that... I hope you guys understand what I'm trying to say!!

Ever since maker studio got sold he no longer had a financial need to make daily vlogs. Before vlogging was a JOB. Now it's just a hobby. A HOBBY that he will eventually stop doing. Shay, please DONT forget who changed your life. It means a lot more to your fans when you upload a video to the channel. When you said you were not going to upload any less than 2 videos a week, it was kind of a slap to the face towards your MILLIONS OF FANS. Many of us where there since day one of this channel and have supported you for so long and NOW it seems like you're turning your backs on us.

Honestly shays excuse doesn't make any sense. UA-cam is job and It only takes around a hour or two to edit a vlog. And that's his job for the day. My parents work 8+ hours a day. Ally of his fans/supporters are saying he has 5 kids and cats and dogs. my parents have 4 kids and we still manage. But shay is going to have to stop vlogging sometime soon he can't keep doing it forever I just think that this wasn't a good reason. I hope that made sense.

It's hard not to call it as everyone sees it, you made your millions off of everyone and then ditch everyone like we didn't mean anything to you in the first place. If you actually have been watching for 5 years, realistically you should be at minimum older than 18. And if your biggest problem at this stage of your life is that some family will be posting less videos of their life, you need to grow up and stop taking everything personal. I don't get it. How has shay been able to do daily vlogs for the past 5 years, & now he suddenly needs time off? I feel like after that long that it should be a lot easier to do these vlogs & he shouldn't need to make less of them. Obviously I don't know the details of shays life, as none of us do. But after selling his company & moving closer to his family, it seems he should be less busy & have to travel less... Also in MY OPINION it seems now that he's made all this money, he doesn't need to do videos as often because he doesn't need that continuous pay like a regular job. I'm not saying he's all conceited because he's rich. But it's like vlogging is no longer a priority for him because it's not necessary anymore. He has five kids now. and they are all young and if he is able to spend time with them and enjoy the little things like helping them with homework he should take that time. This isn't hate! I just want to give out my opinion. I think that Shay should have a better excuse for not vlogging.... He gets to spend weeks in Florida come back home go skiing, hang out with his family, this is his job. We love him, we enjoy his content. At the same time you see CTFxC daily vlogging for six years and they went through hell, from the divorce, and the drama, he's even on tour uploading vlogs, and even on chemo. I don't know I feel like Shay just wants to stop vlogging because he has money now, it's probably not true, but he comes off like that... I hope you guys understand what I'm trying to say!!

Ever since maker studio got sold he no longer had a financial need to make daily vlogs. Before vlogging was a JOB. Now it's just a hobby. A HOBBY that he will eventually stop doing. Shay, please DONT forget who changed your life. It means a lot more to your fans when you upload a video to the channel. When you said you were not going to upload any less than 2 videos a week, it was kind of a slap to the face towards your MILLIONS OF FANS. Many of us where there since day one of this channel and have supported you for so long and NOW it seems like you're turning your backs on us.

shay, here's my opinion... when I saw the tweet when I woke up I was nearly crying, I honestly couldn't believe it and didn't expect it at all from you. I then started to dwell on it and I became angry, which now I realise was silly but still I understand why I did. I was told that my favourite youtubers would be posting a considerably lesser number of videos :( I couldn't face the fact that I was hardly going to hear from the shaytards! I was expecting two vlogs a week and I felt heartbroken:( all day I've sat and thought about this situation and I decided I would be commenting on your next video what I thought! I hate rude comments and haters but I was considering leaving my true angry feelings, I was distraught! but then I watched this vlog and I realised that I was being so stupid, no matter what I receive from you, content wise, will make me happy, and who says that old vlogs can't make me as happy also! after you explaining on the end slate I understand what's going on and have decided that my angry comment was not needed in the slightest! It's hard not to call it as everyone sees it, you made your millions off of everyone and then ditch everyone like we didn't mean anything to you in the first place. People may think it is silly that everyone is being mean in the comments and saying how it's your life and you can make whatever choices you want but when you have been watching for 5 years it feels a little more personal than that. If you actually have been watching for 5 years, realistically you should be at minimum older than 18. And if your biggest problem at this stage of your life is that some family will be posting less videos of their life, you need to grow up and stop taking everything personal.
In essence, If you have an opportunity in your short life to spend time with people that you love, why the hell wouldn't you take that opportunity? Its that frickin simple. So maybe instead of sitting at your desk watching countless families living their life go outside and build yours.

I don't get it. How has shay been able to do daily vlogs for the past 5 years, & now he suddenly needs time off? I feel like after that long that it should be a lot easier to do these vlogs & he shouldn't need to make less of them. Obviously I don't know the details of shays life, as none of us do. But after selling his company & moving closer to his family, it seems he should be less busy & have to travel less... Also in MY OPINION it seems now that he's made all this money, he doesn't need to do videos as often because he doesn't need that continuous pay like a regular job. I'm not saying he's all conceited because he's rich. But it's like vlogging is no longer a priority for him because it's not necessary anymore. But, that being said, of course it is his life & we choose to watch him, it's his choice to entertain us & he needs to do what he needs to do. I'm grateful for the time he does take out of his life to do these videos & I love seeing his cute family. Don't all freak out on me for saying this, I just wanted to put my feelings out there & get some opinions from other viewers & try & get a better understanding/new take on this new vlogging schedule.
He has five kids now. and they are all young and if he is able to spend time with them and enjoy the little things like helping them with homework he should take that time. I understand what you are saying but I don't think people realize how much work it is to take care of five kids and one of them being a baby. I don't even know I just imagine it being a lot of work. I mean he is in a good enough place to where he can take a few days and spend time with his family then why wouldn't he.
