"Alitalia" sounds cooler but ITA has the better livery without a doubt. One of the best I've seen. Also, I love how much bigger and quieter the NEO engines are.

Thanks for the trip report! The ITA livery is stunning, especially the tail paint detail. It looks almost like the LV design pattern. However, the food in the business class was a total embarrassment. Even on a short flight, there should have been a full meal.

I agree, views of the Alps were amazing just like the field of clouds on the Madrid - Rome leg. I also enjoyed the views of London from above. Entering the plane in Rome was a long shot, really enjoyed that. I'm pretty sure I don't like to be seated diagonal in that business class seat, although it seems comfy.
Brilliant as always Lucas but this to me was extra special 😊✈✈🎉.I've put it on save to watch later even tho I've watched a couple of times. The plane was amazing and so happy you travelled in style.(apart from the food).Anyone would have to go a long way to beat the scenery which was spectacular. Buen video, lo que más me ha gustado ha sido las vistas de los Alpes nevados, pero quizás lo mejor ha sido la espectacular vista de Londres city . Respecto a tus preguntas me gusta más la libreta actual de Ita y sobre lo de Air Europa no me gustaría que plus ultra se llevará un trozo de pastel pues esa aerolínea estaba en quiebra hasta que la rescataron con dinero de todos los españoles. La verdad es que yo tampoco veo a Plus Ultra como una aerolínea fiable a la que fiarle la fundamental tarea de mantener cierta competencia con Iberia en las rutas de largo-radio... El tema ya no es solo en las rutas a América Latina... qué pasará con las rutas a EEUU? Ahora mismo Air Europa ofrece muchos destinos que en cuanto se fusionen... quedarán casi en exclusividad para Iberia... no se... esta fusión no termino de verla para el largo-radio... Saludos!
Great video and I love the new ITA livery! I was noticing registrations: the ITA fleet has Irish registration suggesting a financially creative situation; also the Ryanair shown at c. 18 mins has a Maltese registration...what financial skullduggery lurks out there! ITA seems to be the same as Alitalia only with less creditors. hm. And a VERY expensive interior and paint job.
@@OnBoardHD Yes I know it's due to leasing, but that in itself doesn't show a very resilient airline - you don't see other national carriers leasing all their aircraft. And they are expensively done out for leased aircraft. A bit odd IMO.
Yesterday I was in Airbus A320 simulator and if there is the simulator in your city then go because it’s cool and fun I almost made butter landing but there was crosswind

Very nice video, I feel like I traveled with you. To answer your question about the liveries, call me old-fashioned, but I prefer the Alitalia livery. I grew up with it and to me, it's iconic. The ITA one is also nice, but not as remarkable.

I flew the A319 of Alitalia, A319 & A320 of ITA. The ITA flights were all in business class: Heathrow to Palermo via Milan. They are a great airline
I hope the integration in the Lufthansa Group will just make them better :)

Business cabin looks very nice. So sad to see it empty. For these short haul flights they really only need a small business class cabin.

Alitalia also had the planes registered in Ireland. It's just because the plane owner has them registered there and leased to ITA.

Well, as far as I've read the reason for these different airlines is just a tax criteria... they sell all the tickets under Ryanair brand and they don't try to introduce those brands to the passenger... so I guess they won't be doing anything like that =/

Just book something with a connecting time of 2h or more and your bag shouldn't have any problem.

Very nice video, I feel like I traveled with you. To answer your question about the liveries, call me old-fashioned, but I prefer the Alitalia livery. I grew up with it and to me, it's iconic. The ITA one is also nice, but not as remarkable.

En Jerez la ruta con Madrid es operada en exclusividad con Iberia y Iberia air nostrum. Podrá ser modificada de compañía tras la fusión? Prefiero que los vuelos pasen a Ryanair o Volotea. Los precios de Iberia son altos y usando aviones CRJ 1000. Para mi que he volado con ellos me resultan incómodos.

ITA have 5 x A321neo, two of them are “normal”, and three are Long Range: EI-HXA and EI-HXB are the standard, and EI-HXC, EI-HXD and EI-HXE are LR
Fun fact, ITA airways actually don’t fly to London Heathrow anymore, they actually fly to London Gatwick daily
