You and Lonnie DEFINITELY gave your children a WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS! It was a real treat seeing them getting things they loved and appreciated! You've taught them so well to be appreciative and respectful to each other...thats something so many parents don't do anymore. Merry Christmas!!🎄☃️🎅
For my kids, I do 12 days of Christmas. It starts Chrissie day, each day they get a gift. That way they don't get overwhelmed with gifts etc. Christmas day they get one from Santa and one from me and then each day after that one or 2 little things a day. Its been wonderful and made it so much easier for my and children. Just a thought.
Nobody Noah “Mom I’m to smart for this family” 😂😂 that’s something I would say but anyway Merry Christmas Our Landing Crew and I just love how appreciative all your kids are
I'm so happy the kiddos got to have a wonderful Christmas. They work so hard learning to handle the world on other people's terms. They deserve to have their favorite things and just be themselves! Love you all so much!
Thank you for sharing the older kids! The babies need your time and attention. You have to do what is right for them! It was nice seeing Lex and Noah so excited and happy with everything you got them!
OMG...Lonnie Jr got a Fender guitar???? I WANNA COME LIVE AT YOUR HOUSE!!!!!!!! I can't wait to hear him play!!! Gibson and Fender are like the holy grail of 🎸!!!!
I absolutely love Noah‘s face when he opened his game! Our Christmas is very different in our house my kids tear through the presence within 10 minutes and then it’s over and then they’re disappointed that it’s over :-) LOL I hope you guys had a great Christmas
That's basically how Lex is. Like he went around looking at Liam and Nellie's still wrapped gifts trying to find ones with his name on them LOL. I think it's the age
Omg you are the best mom ever. Noah has came such a long way... your children are so precious and bright and respectful, you and Lonnie are amazing 👏 This video really made my day and gave me hope for my 4 year boy with asd.
Loved it! Thank you for showing the "different" way Christmas morning may be for special needs families. Makes some of us feel not so alone in this to see others doing stuff similar to us!
I felt joy watching your kids open all their presents .. (much like my own children when they were growing up) so much they had a hard time concentrating .. ripping through all the little treasures before them .. This Christmas another part of my heart tugged toward all the families .. the kids this year that weren’t as fortunate as our’s. It definitely has been a tough year for so many. Many of those children this year don’t understand or can possible comprehend why their life as they once knew it has changed. As always thanks for sharing. Wishing you and your family many blessings in the New Year.
My son is 6 and this is the first year that he has shown interest and opened all of his presents by himself and not needed a break in-between because he was too overwhelmed.
Maybe bags for the little ones, they sometimes have reusable xmas bags too so you can save money. Glad to see the older kids are so excited and appreciative of there gifts. Also thankfully not a real pig lol.
My daughter is the same age as Penelope and she was overwhelmed with her stocking because it just had sooooo much stuff but we space out her actual gifts and gave her space to enjoy the process. But I agree more unwrapped or put together toys would probably be best for this age range.
My son who is just a few months younger ( also autistic) then Laim, got the dinosaurs as well and lines then up exactly the way Liam does. I love that! Haha so cute.
I just putting my coffee cup to my lips w/ Lex decided one gift was a pig. See this is what I miss. Even my grandsons are grown. Love watching your family.👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼🙂🙂🙂💙
Merry Christmas! I’m thinking for the kiddos that don’t enjoy opening the presents with gift wrap, maybe put their gifts in a gift bag or sack instead. It’s worth a try. Loved seeing their excitement opening their gifts. 🎄🎁❄️🦌🎅❤️
AHHH THERE SO CUTE 😭😭😭😭😭 I’m dying !!!!! I work in the sped room an I can’t wait to hear about what they got for Christmas!!!!!!!!!!! I love u guys so much !! Happy holidays
Sounds like the kids had a good time opening gifts. I'msure with extra alone time from the four old kids, Liam and Penelope will like heir gifts. They are so young. :)
That was fun watching the kids open their gifts! LOL!! Lex is so cute and Noah seemed to love all his gifts!! Lonny, Jr., loves that guitar! It is beautiful!! Danielle received nice things also...is that the first she is getting to wear lashes? It was perfect the way you had the littles open theirs separate from the others. With six gifts, it was easier and you could pay attention to their reactions in the separate groups. Sweet little Liam LOVED his dinosaurs!! Did he spend a lot of time lining them up? I can't wait to see his reaction to his Power Wheel, LOL!! I don't have little ones, so I really enjoyed this vlog. Good job, Stephanie! Thanks for sharing it with us. I ❤️🎁🎀🎄Merry Christmas🎄🎀🎁❤️
My little guy is three years old just turned three in November and he is level 3 autistic nonverbal low functioning with other developmental delays and spacing out opening gifts really helped him this year by the time we had Christmas at just home he got into it he knew what to do he opened them by himself and I am so proud of that milestone for him it brought happy tears to my eyes to watch him actually get into it this year like a normal kid would at his age Merry Christmas to you and your beautiful family and I hope you have a fantastic New year
Did you know there’s an app you can have on your phone to monitor your kids switch? My sons almost 3 and has one. I like it cause you can set a daily time limit that they can play. And a “bedtime” where it will lock up at the time and need your code to unlock it. Really helpful! Cause my son would play it until it literally died.
Yes they are. I really love this family and am truly blown away by their support, kindness and respect they show to each other. Theyve had their struggles for sure and even thru all the struggle Steph and Lonnie have continued teaching them love and kindness and how to be respectful to one another..how they show respect to their children also by choosing what to show on vlogs and what to keep private. Theyve allowed them to keep their dignity while trying to entertain us. Many people think that having a vlogging channel isn't work..I beg to differ. If you have have a channel that you produce several vlogs a week while raising a family with 6 children, 4 of them special needs, youre working your butt off. They are just truly amazing people!!
Merry Christmas to your beautiful family. Our 17 month old grandson had no idea what Christmas was. He opened his big gift a Melissa and Doug Kitchen, which his grandpa assembled and seemed to like it. We sent the rest of the gifts home with him. We didn’t think it was fair to put unrealistic expectations on him to make us feel good about Christmas. We were just happy to see him for a couple of hours.
This. Exactly this. Sometimes as parents (or grandparents, uncles, aunts, etc) we want them to enjoy Christmas how WE think they should instead of just letting them enjoy it in their own way. Liam and Penelope still had a great day. They loved the food and it was just a fun day here that they got to participate in!
We still drag out gift opening for our severely autistic adult son. Otherwise, he gets overstimulated. It may take all day. Good on you doing this with Liam and Nellie.
This year...it was just me and my autistic daughter. My son is grown and has moved out so he was not here for Christmas morning. My other daughter is visiting their father out-of-state. (My autistic daughter won't go.) My autistic daugther LOVES DOGS...especially Huskies. I got her a HUGE Husky Stuffed animal. I thought she would be so excited. My daughter doesn't get real excited about things but when she does she has a certain stim that she does. I thought sure this HUGE Husky would bring on the stim (that is what I get for having expctations). She just looked at it and said "Oh." Then she moved it to get to the rest of her presents. After she was finished opening presents, she did hug the HUGE Husky and seemed to like it...but it totally was not the reaction I was expecting...even after knowning her her whole life. Interestingly, she had asked for this doll (similar to an American Girl doll) that came with a Husky. She was the closest to excited about that gift. And since she has been caring the little Husky around with her and named it "Kingsley". She always carries a small stuffed dog with her...Right now she is carrying two...but "Foxy" (her stuffy of the last few years) will likely be retired soon. I asked her what her favorite present was. She held up Kingsley (the little Husky)....The doll....where is the doll? Laying untouched somewhere. I doubt she will ever play with it. I will probably gift it to another little girl soon. Just like I did with the doll to the last doll and dog set I got her. I wish I could find this type of dog without the doll. Anyway, thank you for sharing your children's gift opening with us. It was fun to watch...Noah had me laughing a few times.
When my children were little, I noticed that they liked to open very little. They just wanted to run into the living room and everything already be opened and assembled. I didn't start wrapping their presents until they were much older and they actually asked why some of their friends had wrapped presents under the tree. I also noticed that 3 or 4 presents were plenty because they wanted to play with the first thing they saw and didn't even look at the rest. Of course all children are different. I'm just telling how my children were. Love your channel and enjoyed watching them. My kiddos are grown so this year was pretty unusual with the pandemic and all and very little family together.
I agree, too much gifts is too overwhelming. We split the gift opening into three days-we let our little one to open maximum 2-3 at once. In between we have had breaks and let him explore new toy first before going to the next one. He is getting overwhelmed when he ahs too much going on, so i also removed each present after he was done exploring it
Aww! Looks like ya'll had a fun Christmas! I got Super Mario Odyssey for Christmas too. I also got Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town. I also got two Legend of Zelda games, Breath of the Wild and Link's Awakening. I am going to get Super Mario 3D All Stars in the mail soon. Also I'm getting an Animal Crossing T-Shirt in the mail too. That'll be cool. Well, thanks for sharing! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
By now, you and one other one are the only family chanels i watch! You are the only one where i feel, does not exploit their kids and keep their dignity! Other vloggers have "the talk" on camera (jess fam-i know you like her-sry)or even share that the kids got 1st pubic hairs. Other ones yell "smile" at their kids permanently (gardener's),not to mention the clickbait!. I can not suppprt that anymore, at all, it's actually quite sad to watch! I love what you do and how you respect your kid's privacy always. I wish all of you happy holidays and a wonderful, healthy 2021! ❤🎅💚⭐❤🌲
Merry Christmas Landing crew and everybody if you could pray for me and my family this is our first Christmas without her my husband he was killed in a fatal car accident in 2020 in May and now I'm a single mom of two Our son is 10 and our Daughter 7
Merry Christmas to you and your family, I can’t believe I found you and your beautiful family again😊. It’s crazy how much your family has grown and now your plus two that’s so exciting. I am still trying to catch up on 2 and a half years in videos I have missed so I was wondering does the four youngest all have a diagnosis of autism? Sorry if there already a video made about all this. Anyways having a great time catching up on how you all have been 💙
We spaced out presents for our daughter first. We let her open a few a couple days before Christmas and then a few on Christmas Eve. It worked great! We also wrapped them in a way that’s easier to open without any tape and just some string holding it together. She would pull on the string and it opened easily for her. I didn’t want her to get frustrated opening presents. She’s 20 months but she’s nerotypical. I did find that these strategies helped a lot to avoid her feeling overwhelmed
“It got a little weird cause he was dating his mom” lol Noah and back to the future 😆
I laughed so hard at this part 😂😂
It's so true tho😂😂😂
Noah’s pure heart is too much for this world ❤️he blows my mind, every time!
I love that you don't overstimulate liam and penny by opening presents all together! You respect how they'd enjoy it the most!
Her kids have the sweetest voices 🥺 also Lonnie JR should do a video playing his guitar !!

Hahaha same Noah, I’m also too smart for my family 😂😂
I love their excitement! My girls are grown. It was a very diluted, scaled back Christmas here...
This was probably the cutest christmas day video ever. ❤️ Best youtube family channel ever!
Omg you are the best mom ever. Noah has came such a long way... your children are so precious and bright and respectful, you and Lonnie are amazing 👏 This video really made my day and gave me hope for my 4 year boy with asd.

How in the world did you find time to shop and wrap all those presents? Fun Christmas video.
We typically start in August. :O)

Love Lex’s oh my goodness p. Merry Christmas
My almost two year old got sooo overwhelmed with Christmas.
It’s really overwhelming for most young kids I feel like! And it’s a kind of tricky concept lol
They love it
By now, you and one other one are the only family chanels i watch! You are the only one where i feel, does not exploit their kids and keep their dignity! Merry Christmas to you and your family, I can’t believe I found you and your beautiful family again😊. It’s crazy how much your family has grown and now your plus two that’s so exciting. My son got blue Nintendo switch lite too.

They’re there just after the big kids.
I want the Nintendo switch animal crossing game so bad 😭😭😭😭😭
Wow they are trying to talk
