      @@bones3142 they did more than that. When they got rid Allen's contract they were able to add around 12 players. Dissly, Dobbins, Edwards, Bozeman, Perryman, etc., even Ladd Mconkey was a result of that trade. Bengals need depth, especially on defense.

    If anyone thinks its hard to look at the Bengals losing when the QB is playing great, just look at what Herbert had to deal with the past 3 seasons. Great numbers, bad defense, bad TEAM play. But taking all the blame because he's the face of the franchise.

    Been a Charger fan for 40 years, they were in the midst of Chargering hard in the second half. I have a Charger's Harbaugh jersey from his time as the QB. I love this team, I love this coach and I believe it was Harbaugh's competitive attitude and love for his team that willed them into a win. That being said, it should not have been that close. They fell off a cliff and got some amazing luck to preserve that win.

      Actually I think it's the opposite. They need games like this. We need to upgrade our fanbase. In fact, we need to be down 27 and experience what it's like to crawl out of a hole. The Chargers fan base is trash right now. They were already throwing in the towel. Trash talking from Chiefs and Raiders fans is normal. But hearing crap from "fans" is garbage. All the negative energy from the previous regimes needs to stay in the past. Leave that crap in San Diego.

      @joshhughart289 he isn't a jump ball guy. Why they kept sending out to do jump ball routes last night boggles my mind. He is successful when he isn't doin that. Maybe another off-season and he can add that to his game, but not yet. But then none of the re eivers right now can do it.

      @silasrobertshaw8122 yeah I get thats not his strength but I wouldn't even call these jump ball situations. If he just shields the defender off a little it's a catch. No expecting him to make full use of his vert and arm length. Just shield off the defender a little and don't play small.

      @@silasrobertshaw8122I’m tired of hearing that. “He’s not a jump ball guy” well he’s an nfl receiver who’s 6’4 215, I get that’s not his strength but that is a problem. That’s inexcusable he needs to learn to attack the ball

    • @silasrobertshaw8122
      @silasrobertshaw8122 Годину тому

      @DominicRogers-gs1fm he obviously has the physical traits. However, he was never asked to be that guy. His college career was using him how he has been successful in the NFL, with crossing routes, designed plays, all that kind of stuff to take advantage of his YAC ability. High pointing a ball is a learned skill. He made tremendous progress this off season, and I am hoping he works on that in the off season, but to expect him to go from borderline bust to being able to excel at everything is unrealistic. Also, Mike Williams was insanely good at contested catches, so we are a little spoiled. There really aren't many receivers who can do what he did/does, even among 6'3"+ guys.
