After watching this episode, i know that some people will have judgment over Daisy. I get it, she took the catfish too far. But she had good intentions, however miguided. But this goes deeper than the catfishing. Its Daisy torn between her obligation to Daniel or acting her true feelings for Ryan. This is why she is now scared to act on her feelings for Ryan. Hence, why she wants to move away and delete his number. Not because shes being cruel but shes afraid of what she might do if shes close to Ryan.
I hate that stupid word "catfish". Ryan was already in a dark place when he saw his face and the thought of someone like Crystal who he had just met and appeared to still be interested in him gave him the lift he needed. Daisy continuing to text him as Crystal did come from a good place. Granted she kept it going longer than she should but everyone else on the Street seems to ignore the fact that Daisy hasn't really dealt with the outcome of being stalked by Justin and the fact that she could have ended up like Ryan. Instead she has to deal with the guilt of being the reason why an innocent person has his face ruined and the way she tried to do that was through the texting to keep his spirits up. I do think that Ryan and Daisy have much better chemistry. Daniel has had an impact on who she has become - a better person; but long term, don't see it working. Don't see any further movement on this story next week but I assume that when Daniel finds out that Daisy is back to the Rovers....
Most people get that like daisy is popular and has a loyal fanbase and they can see that she was stupid but can see it came from a good place and the fact she shows so much remorse shows fans she is truly a better person now

I was thinking the same in how underused he has been up until now. The episodes with him particularly this week and all the emotions he’s gone through have been great to watch. Looking forward to what happens next.
Ryan Prescott is brilliant as Ryan Connor. Charlotte Jordan as Daisy Midgley is too. Charlotte Jordan won more awards for Coronation Street at the 2023 British Soap Awards. Congratulations Charlotte Jordan but other award winners for Coronation Street also played a huge role in Coronation Street winning more British Soap Awards than EastEnders, Emmerdale, Doctors and Hollyoaks did. But the big award of the night was the Best Soap Award which Hollyoaks won. I was hoping that since Coronation Street did so well winning all those awards that Coronation Street deserved the Best Soap Award. The Platts got Best Family award for Coronation Street but not Best Soap which is a shame since Corrie was doing so well at the 2023 British Soap Awards.
The truth is finally out and their friendship is now over. They kissed twice and she's with Daniel we all know that. But when Daniel finds out that Daisy catfished Ryan pretending to be Ryan's friend Crystal then it will be no more Daniel and Daisy if this catfish gets out.
Honestly, I’m calling it now. Daisy and Daniel will finally get their wedding rescheduled and then the fact that she kissed Ryan will come out then. The fact Ryan kept saying “fiancée” suggests to me that he knows Daisy won’t tell Daniel so he will wait until the wedding where he will want to ruin their wedding day rather than just tell him in the pub. Or is this just unrealistic?
