Another cute tutorial lauren, very simple yet effective & actually this idea can be applied to many different things to create a ton of unique DIY pieces..
oh this is so insightful!! learning how to glue two pieces of crockery together, who would of thunk it!!
that's what DIY is about (: putting pieces together and making one awesome handy creative piece. some may like it, some may not.

You may have the money to go out, and buy that lavish 100 dollar cake stand, but not everybody can afford to do that. Fixing, and using what you have to make something that you will use is really resourceful. And I personally love this idea. I don't have the dishes to do this, but I can pay 2 bucks at the dollar tree and make it. What's eating away at you? If you don't like LC then that's okay, but don't attack something, and be so petty over some cheap dishware. Paper plates now thats a waste.
you can also make a layers stand like this, only put them on top of each other.

for sure. Yeah it happens. It's kind of hard to detach yourself and see things from a different angle. I was the same.. and Im trying not to be so rigid on certain things like these- of LC's crafty creations, but it happens. Take it easy!

LOL,so much truth in that. Aww, I hate when people get way too obsessed on being mean or being right, and they are demeaning,derogatory, or using vulgar language to prove their point. I see it all the time on here especially. I did give a few words to a person picking on a 10 year old girl on here, and it wasn't the nicest, but it wasn't complete bullying or bashing on my end. Just stating clearly that what they were doing is wrong. I'm glad you're very understanding of me to. =)

I meant goodwill because I don't know where else you can donate dishes to and such, but since you know or... places like banks and so on, then you know what I"m talking about. Re-purposing it- Sure. Just seems wasteful when she could be giving it to places like those you have mentioned and such.

I understand your idea for it, but if you wanted something like that what would you per-pose a person to do? If you're taking from a set of dishes, and ruining a set for your craft purposes then that's a bit silly and wasteful, but if you have mix match dishware 1 cup and 1 different plate I don't think that's a big deal. I do get what you're trying to say, I guess in a sense you can be right, and in a other i'll be right too :)

think about it. you're gluing dishes together. if it doesn't seem odd to you, i guess that's you and my explaining it won't do any good or bit of difference at all. but it is wasteful when she could go and donate them to good will and such places like that.
how is it wasteful to take dishes you werent using and glue them together to make some fresh that has multiple uses? Sounds thrifty to me.

Oh goodwill you mean the walmart of thrift store's? You're hilarious, so they can profit from her dishes? Goodwill just like the majority of chain thrift store's are way overpriced. When I donate I donate to my church clothing bank or to the arc of washington who sell the items to goodwill to benefit children with disabilities 100% non profits. You might have a different opinion then me, but she's re-purposing something thats not a waste at all.
