@@SkyMika. you're probably correct...unfortunately there's just not much interest in non- white narrative. especially when they're completely not a part of the story. Black ppl are barely tipping the scale in this regard. i'm gonna watch it anyway. looks good to me
This reads propaganda to the fullest! It would of been better if the main character wasn’t married or have a kid. I guess the message is about fulfillment which is fine if the show was going that direction. But I feel like some feminist wanted to push an agenda that having a career, and being sexually promiscuous is more important than marriage and rising a child. Some of y’all will say “ she got married to young” or her husband left her drowning” I get that but I didn’t see any like ability with the character or the story. 🤷🏿♂️🤣
That's what you got from the trailer? Not a story about a First Nation woman trying to figure herself out in a vibrant community. The whole point is ppl are complex, and she can have children and be married whil still trying to find her purpose in life. I feel sorry for you that it seems your view of women is insular
@ “she’s just a small town girl living in a lonely world! She’s took the midnight train, going anywhere”. That’s what I think of when I watched this trailer. It’s the same formula that modern day television is following ( which is the reason why normal people are rejecting this nonsense). My little Pocahontas?! Was kind of funny but kind of a strange line 🤣🤣. I like how they are doing whole ignorant white lady trope when she says “Namaste” towards the end 🤦🏿♂️ 🤷🏿♂️. I don’t know who writes this crap but you can ignore me tho I’m jealous just a troll 🧌
I am neither Canadian nor Native but for some reason I'm crazy geeked to see this! Please make it available in the US!!!
I'm sure it'll be streaming on their CBC Gem website.
i'm as far from the target demo of this as you can get and i'm 100% in agreement with you
Just listen to a bunch of Stan Rogers and have some GOOD maple syrup. I promise you'll feel Canadian.
We Don't see Native people that much on TV, I'm so excited for that show like, I was born ready for it🎉
Can't wait; this looks amazing, plus it offers a glimpse into a way of life most of us may never experience!

"Thank you for sharing your traditional knowledge with me. Namaste." Sooooo funny!
Ooh can't wait to binge-watch it.
Im not Native but I loved Anna in Trickster so I'm glad shes in something new
I agree. It looks good. 👍
i love my first nations
might be the first time i've hear someone use the term "latino aboriginal"
@@guesswhosbackg6616 This series takes place in Nunavut, not NWT. Also, Inuit are culturally distinct from First Nations 🤓
Finally, we get to see the north represented ❤
Sooooooo excited for this! More of this and then even more!
Oh, this looks AWESOME. Makes me nostalgic for the village.
I want these episodes like yesterday! 😍

I LOVE NATIVE COMEDIES!!!!!!!
Can't wait!
This looks interesting
This looks like a good one. I hope it makes it into the US. We got 500 channel satellite TV, and I'd be surprised if there's one for CBC.
Jay Ryan in it. I'll watch 👌🏻
How can we watch it in the states?
Looks good, too bad I’m sure it will get canceled in its first season.
@@SkyMika. Expensive to produce

Damn she cute. Show looks good.
i am sure this won't suck at all
*_namaste_* 😁😁😁😆😆😆😆
This needed to be done by someone other than a CW / HALLMARK/ DISNEY bs charm production company.
Snowcahontas is good but I would have said snow white and sacagawea, then she'd be a snacagawea 😆
Is it just me or does this trailer imply she abandoned her kids for a fresh start?
🤍
