Hey Guys, Just trying this out to see if poeple want to see more specific sound design videos like this! Let me know if its something you want to see more of :) Please give the video a Like if you found it helpful 😀
I'd love to see some tips on making percussion sounds, especially clicks, toms, distorted DFAM stuff. YT has plenty of tutorials on making kicks, snares and hats, but not a lot for other kinds of sounds.
I've had this vst for awhile now and I'm just now noticing how involved you're getting here. Most of the preset pads that come with Surge use one or two oscillators on scene A whereas you're using all the oscillators on both scenes in Dual mode! I discovered a quick 'n' dirty way of combining presets by opening a preset, right clicking on A and selecting copy, then open another preset and right click on B and paste, have them in Dual mode and voila!
Thanks so much for this video, sir! I do have to say I have one piece of constructive feedback: after following your instructions, my own result doesn't quite sound like yours at all -- I can see it gets close, but some stuff is clearly still lacking. For that reason, I think it could be useful if you gave these instructions by starting from a completely clean slate, and guiding the viewer through everything you do from there.
Always find your stuff very useful, man and would love to see more of it plz. Also, congrats on the formation of your Synthwave band: Oscillator drift carry on!
Yeah, great video! Can you share what's the AW effect you are using at the end of the FX channel? I think It has a lot to do with the end result. Thanks!

Yes! Can you make a tutorial for the lead on your Palace ??
Insane that this synth is free.
Surge is incredible for pads!!!

Very interesting. Can't get enough of these tips and tricks
Really good stuff. Enjoyed you walking us through it. How about a much darker eerier pad walk through?
I like what the wavetables(and they are many) can do to a pad, and they're pretty cool on their own too.

Hello
I have a question,
I use a Mac 10.15.6, and installed a this VST but it doesn’t show up from DAW,
Could you tell me how to do it,
Yeah, great video! Can you share what's the AW effect you are using at the end of the FX channel? I think It has a lot to do with the end result. Thanks!
Hey man apologies for not mentioning it in the video! It’s the “air” effect! I’m using it to boost the high end a little bit!
@@GarronsMusic Thank you!
