Arun Govil is an Indian actor, producer, and director. He is best known for his role as ‘Lord Rama’ in Ramanand Sagar‘s ancient Hindu epic television series, Ramayan. Arun Govil was born on 12 January 1958 in Ramnagar, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh.
Arun Govil’s father, Chandra Prakash Govil. his elder brother is Vijay Govil. Arun is married to a former designer and film actress Shrilekha Govil. Couple has two children, His Son Amal Govil. His daughter Sonika Govil lives in Boston, USA. His Elder brother Vijay Govil got married to Tabassum, a former Indian actress.Actor Hoshang Govil is his Nephew.
