Great to see Martin singing one of there greatest songs, I remember them practicing in there family garage in Witton Gilbert where my house was a few doors away, fond times there , cheers paddy and Martin 👍
@@mathiastopp1135 I am in total agreement that Paddy's songs have always been excellent. I love Prefab Sprout. That wasn't my comment. I just think they could be presented better.
Good eye. I clocked that too having watched that bit on UA-cam before. They are DeArmond X-155 (Guild Guitars) Hollow Body Archtop Guitars. I am a wee bit surprised just how affordable they are priced in the used market here is the States. Prices wildly ranged from $350-1400, with the average being around $600. Man, that black one at Guitar Center for only $350 is giving me a bit of G.A.S. (Gear Acquisition Syndrome is a very real malady for us musicians).
He doesn't have Paddys vocal range, that's for sure. Such a shame Paddys heath difficulties prevent him from playing now. Not sure if he can still write and record.
This isn't working and he can't sing. What he should have done is put a full band together, get a competent singer in, get back on the bass, get Neil Conti back in and try and replicate the songs as well as possible as a fitting tribute to his brother Paddy. .
Love this song thanks

A great musician👌 I still really enjoy listening to his songs🎙️😇
They are Paddy's songs.
Whether Martin covers the songs or anyone else, they are awesome and, of course, remain Paddy’s songs😇

Great to see and hear this. Same guitar Paddy used for the last Prefab concert June 10th, 2000 (Fleadh, London)

From Langley Park to Glasgow. Wish I could have been there.
amazing!
Gradevole... flashback ❤
Caught him at Hull Wrecking Ball and Thornton Hough a few months ago and he was brilliant 🙂
He is looking as a prophet now . Prophet of rock and roll .
This is Paddy's brother Martin, who played bass in Prefab Sprout, but Paddy's beard is actually more impressive.
@@thebrysmith3 Do you have an evidence about it ( Paddy's beard ?)

Todo lo que queda de Prefab Sprout 😢
I think that is unfair, martin knows that he doesn't have his brothers voice.
But jeez. What a guitarist 🎸
That's not Paddy...His brother. Who played Bass. Playing solo. Sounds like his voice is gone.

t.y!!😊😊😊
That looks exactly like paddy
Without the talent.
Per favore paddy di a tuo fratello di evitare queste figure

A brilliant reply and idea I would certainly go for that
