yeah totally. how the system is set up to help predators and not people being attacked.

yes and exposing how much is serves predators and attacks survivors
exposing how lawyers spend money, time and energy and profit off of the lifelong suffering of people the predators hurt because the system is set up to protect predators

I know, firsthand, how a sexual assault can change your life. I was convinced of sexual assault against my ex-girlfriend, and none of the evidence proving I did not do this serious crime was used in court. Now, I am a registered sex offender for the next 25 years, and it has changed my life forever and I have a lot of depression because of this.

What you said at 4:25 is absolutely true. Just turn on the tears and be convincing and you will be believed even if you are lying your ass off. That is why the rules of evidence absolutely need to be strengthened. No uncorroborated eyewitness testimony should be allowed. No circumstantial evidence should be allowed.

you sound like the worst person ever. the conviction rate for literal rapists is extremely low and you're like let's support predators more. that's all it would accomplish, making life easier for rapists.

On the one hand, I pity anyone who’s been falsely accused. On the other hand, if a victim feels so strongly about what happened that they’re willing to testify in a court of law, by itself, that says a lot. Prosecutors don’t try flimsy cases.

Liars exist. I have been lied on and she didn't mind taking it to court.

Has the oncoming me to era made it less likely want to win this type of case?

Step one if you had sex with someone under the age of twenty one an it wasnt reported cus it never happened and they decide to lie years later they already lost their case, step two if it happens from a chick you justmet with four mental illnesses diagnosis and text messages of her saying shes trying to date then youre in the clear

But if the complaint was making all this up and falsely accuse the accused, that would be all he said or she said and words cant be an evidence as thats hear say, so if there isnt any evidence, you cant be convicted.

survivors need a lot more help, maybe focus on helping the people who need it rather than focusing on the like less than 1% of "liars" or whatever.

@floralgreen801 Facts!!! Say it louder for the people in the back!
Edit: Is it just me or have you ever noticed that the defendant(in a rape trial) is NEVER asked highly detailed and appallingly invasive questions about his sexual history, his personal life, his past romantic/sexual relationships, etc? Why is it that, to the best of my knowledge, the defendant NEVER has to sit and be subjected to intense cross examination in front of a courtroom full of strangers, lawyers, law enforcement, friends, and family?

The problem with juries AND judges is that no one really understands what REASONABLE DOUBT means.
