Glad to see someone use a cot with bike camping. I swore by mine when in the Corps, carrying those 6lbs no matter how far we humped. Yours looks smaller and lighter. Really like your over all kit. Thanks
@@trevoreckberg1260 I know what you mean. I live out of my car at the moment(2 yrs), previously small van (3yrs). Planning on living off an enduro bike starting next spring. I’ll never give up my jetboil though 😜
It's not a 'fortress' if it's leaking water over the groundsheet! Inside the tent! WTF? Yet another 'sales pitch' for moto-camping gear! The tyres on your motorcycle don't look particularly off-road capable and there is a nice-looking farmstead in the background, so I guess you didn't have to really 'rough it' whilst camping at this very pleasant location. Ride safe, Love and peace.
Usually I don't put down a ground sheet under the tent cause I'm lazy, but I doubt it would have helped much with the flash flooding in the video... I should have spent more time looking for a spot on high ground 🤷🏼♀️ Tires are Heidenau K60, overall pretty happy with them for dual sport use. it's about 2 hours down dirt/gravel roads to get to our cabin where this was filmed, but first it's about 1300 highway miles from Washington to Colorado for me. So big knobby tires aren't a great choice.... And you are correct about not roughing at this location! I was staying in our old mining cabin behind the camera, I use all this equipment in between when I am crossing the country. Safe travels out there!

Very nice! Thanks
Thanks for making this wonderful video. As a solo rider it helps me a lot to improve my riding gears.
Thank you for the kind words! I'll work on more in depth reviews of the gear soon
Your story is an inspiration my friend… thank you for all you do!
Thanks for the gear info brother!
You got it Lou! I'll have a riding gear and electronics guide coming soon 🤓
Takes a lot of time to set up camp each stop. Wish there would be a 2 second pop-up tent that's small enough to put on a bike...
I've seen a few pull behind trailers for motorcycles, might be able to build a one person pop up that way!
Doing my first MC tour (after only going by bike previously) in a couple of week. Always great with some tips =)
Love to hear it! Hope everything goes well =)
Thanks for sharing! Wish you the best!
Epic video, very clear and organised information for those who to start doing overlanding. Thx and keep up creating more of these vids. Kr, H
Great Insights Trevor. 🥰
Thank you ❤️
Nice setup and very calm video. Thanks for posting this. What brand are those pants? They look really comfy.
I think the label says "LB Tech"... They might be from REI, Eddie Bauer, or even Walmart??
Add a Kelly Kettle. Get the complete kit in stainless. The aluminum doesnt hold up as well.
Nice 👍
Not sure why would they not send it with the right size wholes. Thank you for the video
Ultimate...lol😂
This video reminds me of all the things I don’t need
Living off a bike is a great exercise in minimalism... but sticking to starbucks and hotels does save a lot of weight! 😜
