Nigel Rafferty are great, they are now agents for Oregon too. I attended their open day and had a chat with the Oregon guys. I like echo saws, the 620 is a great one to try.
Great review. Just to let you know, we have new 56V batteries now available (56eFORCE) which feature improved tech and will give around 25% longer run times on the DCS-2500T. Keep up the great content 👍
"the main reason I didn't go for the Husqvarna was the price" Yup. Same here. The *significant* price difference drove me to Echo. So far, ZERO regrets.
Holy sh*t that thing is powerful. This may take the arborist industry by storm. Being that lightweight, maybe it’s more susceptible to kickback? But damn that’s impressive. Good review man 👍👍. Stay safe and thanks from Detroit, MI.
I love mine.. I only use it for reductions as it’s not got the power for anything more. Best thing I did was put a panther bar and chain on it! Cuts much smoother now.
I have the 2511tes and love it to bits. Got it ported and have a wee panther bar on it with a 1/4 pitch conversion. I found the original echo bar and chain to be pretty appalling. Have you found that the original bar and chain on this battery saw are a bit naff?

Sounds like a great improvement! Glad you liked it 🙂
Would you be keen to send us one out to test compared to the standard ones?

I’d love to try the husky but so far this one is doing the job just fine 🙂

I did try and get it to kickback and it never really did, even when trimming or plunging with the nose of the bar 🙂 Glad you liked it!

Yeah a lot of people have mentioned the panther bar and chain, I think it’s gonna be my next purchase. Thanks for commenting 😊
You stick with the same size panther bar? Everyone seems to be in agreement in going with the 1/4 pitch chain
Enjoy the hook, once you fully discover 1-handed clipping on and off ;)
Отличная пилка. Пользуюсь тоже аккумуляторной цепной пилой Makita 302 .

I seem to be getting on with it ok, but I am keen to try the panther!
Is this the Echo 12"? What maximum size tree in diameter would suggest? Cornwall, I assume southwest UK. Centimeters or inches is fine.
love to know the total weight with bar and battery
