Today i got to know about, mount stupid curve in which some people who have very less knowledge about the subject gets so much confidence that they know everything about the subject but on the other hand people who are expert or intelligent on the same subject have thinks that there is much more to learn about that subject and they become more humble and ready to learn more.

dude, the interview made sense....i know he sometimes give weird comparisons...but overall evrything he said was correct.....there is manipulation in the market....even till this day, the operators suddenly start promoting the shares or selling the shares...and all other pts what the interviwer raised and how he answered were alright....the interviewer was talking like a normal inidan person..Even my dad has same opinion about stock market...

This interview had RJ explain in much more depth than he usually does. Prabhu Chawla was rough and he also got more out of RJ
They are showing what people want to watch because the 90 % of population didn't know any thing about the stock market.
Shayad Prabhu Sir khud market me invest karta ho. It is the duty of media house to go through every aspect but for maximizing TRP they are asking what people want to hear.
Your Discipline in stock market should be 100% but we neglect market 1000% discipline to teach you lessons with some fee.
I think the interviewer is asking right. He might having Harshad and junjunwala story on his back of mind and the reaction of sensex was also looking like manipulation... isn't it

I agree with you but many companies use big investors like Rakesh Jhaunjhunwala as brand ambassador. These big media groups always glamourize the news when he buys stake in any company as if he is always correct and many retail investors just follow Rakesh Sir blindly without knowing that he is a big risk taker and it doesn't matter to him if he losses fer crores in market. So I think big business news channels should stop publishing news about big investors. It doesn't make any sense to small investors.
That's happen because lack of education in small investors and media houses are taking benefit from this

The interview made sense actually.
Prabhu chawla is not biased..He is clearly a good journalist...His methods to ask questions or interview might be uncomfortable and rude.But I think in general he is doing a good job. That's how a interviewer should ask question.
Not just about this interview I always found Prabhu below average.
It's true that some big people manipulates the market but small peoples like us needs to learn and earn from this market only.
PC is right in a sense that big traders dictate the swings in the market... and have the power to erode away retail investor's wealth.
Else there is no reason for Nifty dancing up and down on every expiry ... F&O is to blame..
NSE is like a Casino.. the volume in F&O markets is more than 50x cash segment ..

Most ppl disliked this video. Before they watched scam 1992 first, had they watched the interview first then they woulda agreed with you.
RJ is a CA, so he's not like an ordinary personal who became the richest investor "accidentally".
It's just like after making a movie on sanjay dutt (sanju) it little improved his image on ppl
But only wise ppl may have known that that movie just to improve image of him as much as possible lol
It was not the "CA" but vision that got him where he is.
But he was not completely wrong either...you can see this on every expiry day...big investors manage 5 biggest market movers HDFC Bank,RIL, INFOSYS and ICICI bank and TCS...it happens every time...this is the biggest reason why retail investors get looted in Futures and options....even SEBI knows it and that's why it's trying hard to change lots of rules...Long term investors definitely make great money in stock markets...that's true.

Because companies can raise money through IPO (don't Know just Google it).so companies can expand it.now you thinking that if Company already collected money through IPO than it is bullshit to invest in stocks(because it doesn't do anything productive)so you are wrong because companies after IPO companies can raise money money through Follow On Offering.so yeah investor are important.with healthy stock price investor are attracted and want to more invest money and this is good for business.

Elon brought up Buffett saying that he is a different kind of billionaire than himself... If you read Robert kiyosaki's cashflow quadrant he explains that there are three types of Big Business:
1 - The system you create yourself, build products and systems, that is, building from scratch
2 - Buying into another system (franchise) and make them your own
3 - Buying small versions of another system
Buffett is the 2nd and 3rd kind (or any investor for that matter), Elon represents the 1st kind.. each business system has it's own merits, as Elon himself said that someone has to do the real work of creating valuable products or services, the 1st system actually is the most important one...
When he says Buffett is boring, it's his personality because he's a business builder & Buffett is more like business organiser/dealmaker...
Buffett has made billions in shareholder value and pledged to donate billions more (that's a LOT of value created).. People are different their tastes are different there is no one-size-fits-all approach.. they both have created tremendous value, ultimately it's your own preference...
Some have become rich doing high volume high intensity trading which doesn't create much value to society.
But both Elon & Buffett are long term oriented value creators (because both have different personalities)....
