  • So many great Aldi finds this week! Especially for the garden because that is why I originally went. I hadn't been to Aldi in awhile. I also wanted to see if the prices are much more than what they used to be like everywhere else. Shop with me as I get our weekly grocery haul this week!

Aldi is cheaper than most grocery stores for me, but the prices have absolutely increased dramatically. I wanted that Aldi tumbler so badly but I didn't get it and it sold out so quickly 😂

I still like the prices at Aldi better than most other stores. I am hoping my Local Aldi has the hanging chair when I go later this week.

We’ve all been snacking less in general at my house. It has saved so much money and we do better at meal times. Lunch foods stay the same all week and thankfully my kids don’t mind repetition

Yessss same at our house, we used to buy Cliff bars and they are like 15 dollars a box, like NO! Not in this economy. We have been just buying fruit. If you want a snack go eat a banana or yogurt lol

Your Aldi looks great. My store is on the small side, and I hardly go in any more. They used to be so fresh and so inexpensive but now it’s not a bargain anymore. I ran in Friday for the avocados and they are not that good. I’ll eat them but they are meh. I did wind up finding a gorgeous enamel cast iron pan for $25 and grabbed that. It surprised me because those are usually gone by 7 am the day they put them out and crazy enough they had a stack. Anyway, I’m new to your channel and I’m enjoying the videos!

I think we need to stop expecting 2018-2019 prices in 2023. Times have changed this is what it is now 🤷🏻‍♀️ I don’t think $37 what bad for all that. No strange pork here in Wisconsin 😂

Exactly this. In 2018, were we focused on prices from 2012? Prices rising is no fun at all, but that is life since the dawn of time and the concept of money.

Wonder if it depends on the state! Because our grocery prices are finally going down. Not pre Covid prices but not as bad as last year..

Jia, I bought some bacon about a week ago and I kid you not when I started cooking the bacon instead of grease it water. The taste was awful I ended up returning it to the store and purchased another brand of bacon. The prices are getting out of control I have started making our bread, buns, and English muffins instead of buying them in the store the taste is much more cleaner.

I live around Pittsburgh and the prices at our aldi have increased. BUT, I will say when I go to other grocery stores I still get severe sticker shock. I'm not paying $6.something for a 12 pack of pop. Ridiculous

A pack of 10 mini cans can be $7 depending on the store here in Chicago. And the bottled water has jumped up as well.

Hey there, Jia. I still haven’t been to my local Aldi and it is literally a couple miles up the road. I go to Walmart which is further from me. I haven’t noticed any difference in the taste of bacon here in Phenix City, AL, but I don’t buy bacon much. Grocery prices are ridiculous but I was thinking that the prices of the fruit you bought were pretty reasonable. Thanks for sharing.

Aldi has definitely increased pricing. They’re comparable to great value prices at Walmart. Aldi finds are unmatched though! Lol

Prices have gone up everywhere but Aldi is still the cheapest compared to Publix, Walmart ahd Target in my area so I still primarily shop at Aldi for the bulk of my groceries. Then fill in the gaps from Publix or special things I can't get at Aldi. Plus the finds aisle and neat things keep me wanting to go back. I wish I had a Trader Joe's nearby I'd go there too but my closet one is an hour away.
ETA: I also love how all Aldi's products are dye free. Huge plus!

I stopped shopping at Aldi a while ago because Walmart prices were a LOT cheaper than Aldi. Recently Aldi prices have come down a bit and they have several items that are cheaper than Walmart now. Thankfully, they are right across the street from each other here so I have no problem shopping both when needed

    • @jenniferrosenthal7731
      @jenniferrosenthal7731 Рік тому

I comparison shop all of the time and my Walmart just doesn’t beat Aldi, ever! Thankfully they are only 1/4 mile apart so if there’s something Aldi doesn’t have, I can go a short distance. On the other hand, I do quite a bit of non-food shopping at Walmart because I am a rebate app user.

@@jenniferrosenthal7731 crazy how prices are in different areas. Walmart has been cheaper than Aldi on everything for the last year or so. Only been the last few weeks that some prices (like meat and fruit) are now cheaper than Walmart again.

Same for me. Walmart has been cheaper than Aldi, but have noticed that their prices on certain items are going down. We are in Georgia and just got back from Florida and the prices at Publix there were insane. 9.00 for 12 cans of soda! 7.00 for regular bag of Doritos (not party size).
