Here I thought you were going to build a ship with low IR, Radar and Sonar detection ranges, with liberal use of rubber blocks.. No, instead stealth means "painted black". xD
no his stealth is based of real life stealth ships. and therefore real life stealth mechanics. not in game stealth mechanics. in real life the key to being stealthy is making sure you have no rounded edges, and you have absolutely nothing circular. also all sides should be angled inwards. this is because the only form of detection that is viable irl is radar and when building in that wa. it will deflect radar signals off to the side, instead of back to the radar receiver.
@@johanness3850 Yes, we know, that's why he has that faceted, angular shape. That's the joke, here. He has something that "looks" stealthy, but in game isn't stealthy in the slightest lol
@@johanness3850 In "real life", materials also matter. Robbaz! You need to give your ship EMP resistance especially near the AI and your guns because one lucky or strong shot with an EMP weapon could destroy your mainframe and some components in your guns, which means you would be pretty much F****d. You can protect your stuff pretty easily by scattering surge protectors near your mainframe and any other electronics. You don't need too many of them, but you need enough so that if you get EMP traveling through all that metal, the surge protectors will just steer the EMP away and absorb all of it before it can do harm. EMP also can destroy heavy armor pretty easily but the spaced armor will at least protect the mainframe and other electrical components inside.

The "cocoon" around the ammo and engine is a real thing called the "citadel" of the ship
