You can't tell me that taking that much oil from the ground is going to be okay for the environment. I understand that the drilling is 600 meters below the ground, but just because you can't see the effects of it doesn't mean that there are no effects. You can try to sugar-coat it, but it is still a fossil fuel that will be extracted (bad for the environment) and burned (even worse for the environment) and is non-renewable (arguably takes millions of years to form fossil fuels like oil). That's great that something is being done to mitigate the damage of extracting the resource, I will say. But we ultimately need alternatives, not executives sugarcoating the real damage they are causing to the environment, and to people. This is still bad. And I hope people aren't convinced that this is really the "future" of energy production.
So you can provide us with your good alternative for environmentally safe drilling or you just shut up for the experts to say what they can do to mitigate the effects if you don’t have any idea?
