Pat, great video. Two questions. Number one does it matter if the turret is turned to the side from where the dish stows for travel? The other question is my dish is not locating the satellites. It just keeps turning in circles. The people from Winegard said that it is a matter of replacing the wire bundle in the dish which is why I’m asking the first question about the alignment of the turret. Any thing you can tell me would be greatly appreciated.
It is easier to do it the way it is when stowed but once you disassemble it you can clock it any way you want as you will be timing it when you put it together. just be sure your wires are not twisted. The sheathed cable can cause it to turn without stopping to look at satellites but it can be a tuner issue also. try the cable first
One last question. After reassembling the dish I am now getting a “El Motor Home Failure” code which I’m guessing we didn’t get the timing right. Once again I really appreciate anything you can tell me.
