Just wow ! I am astonished by the quality and complexity of what I just heard !!! How can you make an almost 5 minutes only piano piece ? How do you create so much variations in those chords progression ? I feel like once I completed my main idea which is often 8 bars x) I have no clue how to continue and create variations. So 5 minutes... 0_o seems so far. Do you have any tips ?
Alot of the times I have the same issue actually! What I've started doing is taking separate ideas and just trying to find ways to connect them, especially with B sections. A sections I try to write a catchy and memorable melody to hook people in and B sections are where I try to just let my mind and ear wander. As far as complex chords go, anything can make sense so long as you use a ii V I progression x) But you can vary those leading progressions with diminished chords, bVI bVII chords, kush chords from jazz, Tri tone subs, etc. There's a lot of ways to pivot around key centers and it becomes more natural and fluid the more you practice writing around the concept And also don't be afraid to repeat your main idea! I tend to do it for the endings of my pieces with some variation sprinkled in. But your main idea is the main idea for a reason so don't be afraid to use it

Im impressed by the number of producers with works as beautiful as yours but with little recognition, when listening to some of your productions I feel peace and tranquility (I remembered a little of the soundtrack from the Studio Ghibli films haha) they are all so satisfying to be appreciated and watched, I hope they get more recognition, there's other networks to follow some of your compositions or just on UA-cam? (sorry if my English isnt that good, isnt my first language 😓)
