Are you running that on steam power or a battery? I just picked one up that doesn't have a burner or burner tray. I don't know if it is supposed to run on steam or it's just for show?

Richard, I'm not sure how often you view your comments, however, as being the caretaker of your Heron, I would like to communicate to you that being inspired by viewing the York Bolton I was able to find one and add to my collection. I appreciate your taste in steam and as my collection grows I thank you.
Bonjour, A waterproof drone ! Quite useful to make under water and sky vidéos ! Fished in 50 cm of water, you live in a little paradise... Traffic jams do not miss you :+) ? Amicalement, Raphaël
With a waterproof enclosure, compass calibration is much more subtle than with a DJI. Once you've nailed that, performance is superb. Not a drone for beginners.
..and BTW, You Tube, the soundtrack is not copyrighted. Other people have used this backing track for their own vocals and then copyrighted the final product. Unfortunately, your automated system is unable to discern the difference.
Bonjour Kusuchi, Your island is not so far from my wife's one (Guadeloupe, FWI) but it looks very different and close to an idea of Paradise, I will manage to come and see these "Virgin islands" ! Amicalement, Raphaël
I just had a re view of all these stwww films and they are absolute brilliant. This is creative thinking and a wonderful display of out of box thinking. The actual model engines become like the bonus of it all.
Bonjour, Indeed, I would have liked to be with you visitig this steam treasure island. I envy you for these discoveries:+) Do you think that we will see these wonderful cllection tn on steam ? Amicalement, Raphaël
Hi Raphael, This video was one of ten made for a World Wide Online Virtual Steam Fair, (STWWW), sponsored by the Unofficial Mamod & Other Steam Forum. modelsteam.myfreeforum.org/index.php Other videos on this page show most of these engines and many others in steam.Enjoy! :-)
Wonderful craftsmanship. Great masterpiece and fantastic sound! Thanks for posting this super video. Capolavoro di artigianato. Grande opera e sound fantastico. Grazie per aver pubblicato il bel video
Der Seekadett was a high end model kit produced by UK manufacturers Marten, Howes and Baylis, based on a steam launch that used to sail on Lake Geneva. The boiler is a superheated Silver Nickel design by Brian Marten. The engine is the late Peter Baylis's triple PB3, a magnificent piece of model engineering. Although the PB3 is fairly rare, Peter made only one four cylinder marine engine. Check out my You Tube page for video of this exquisite piece.
Hi Frank, Sorry for the delayed response. It's a commercial 150 PSI Construction compressor, with the regulator dialed down to almost zero. Somewhat overkill. A good aquarium pump would probably do the job!

It’s running on battery. It has both a burner and a burner tray, so I’m assuming it can be run on steam even though it has never been fired.
@@kusuchi thanks for the reply. I have found a burner and burner tray for mine.
Great model and nice shots! I also have a slightly altered Seekadett, named Syrinx.
Exelente! Donde se consigue.
Is this a model or could this run shop equipment?
@@charlesfitton9677 do you have the engine still I wish I could buy it from you if you're interested in selling it
@@charlesfitton9677 can you ask the owner if he wants to sell it
Love it
Hi Roy, I sent you a message with my email via ebay ...
Who is/was your sensei/regional director?
Randy McEndree, but I’ve been on my own for a long time now.
@@kusuchi Randy! I remember Randy! Is he still on St. Thomas???

Nice looking engine and video. Slow as all get out, though.

No, Greg, it's just an illusion. They are all the same.
Richard. Such a nice acquisition . Is the second piston rod from the front differential from the others? It looks a different color.
Yes, there is only one. The previous owner posted pictures of it on the Model Boat Mayhem forum.
Impressive engine. Are you sure it's the only one made? I remember seeing one somewhere else.
