Been a fan of Ray Gomez's playing ever since hearing Lenny White's Mating Drive. I had no idea that he looked so much like Austin Powers, though. Grooovy baby!

This is 1985 not '86. The record "Night" that Abercrombie had recorded and released in 1984 had been out for 6-8 months at this point. "Night" is his latest record as a leader at the time this performance was filmed, and he is playing a good amount of music from that album here.

I was Blessed to meet Allan, Jimmy & Chad at a Yoshi's Show set up. I'd found a good copy of the 1st LP by UK. For the heart-healthy price of 95¢ and! It was Autographed. Twice: Wetton & Allan! In blue ballpoint ink fading away a Day or Years at a time so I had a Mission- to get it together. See how long it takes. Holdsworth - w/a few things & re Chad- a simple ton of Zappa he'd been involved with. Samplers, full Discs, et al. About 30-40 pieces maybe. Not long after, UK did an Anniversary Tour -35(±) Years since the first LP. Now it's w/2" Allans, an Eddie Jobson (as re any Zappa he's on), an original Wetton signature & I guess it's a Bruford void for 'Completion' as Principle Force. I can live with that.

HELL YEAH!!! Can't Argue w/Sick Mind. Come on! Give it up! THE greatest album of all time, of any genre, any decade, live or not! All the rest just....Fade Away. Thanks for the upload!!! GOLDEN!
