The most ambitious build that I've build using “Faulty Logic”, as I used to call it. This is equivalent to hoiks or hoiktronics, that became possible in 1.3.1 patch, but possibilities still stay mostly unexplored. I'm really not sure why I'm subscribed to this channel. Like at all. I don't know who you are and I don't recognize any of your older videos. But goddamn, this was a hell of a one to start off on.
Most people subscribe after watching BadApple!! video. If you haven't seen it before, maybe we interacted on some forums perhaps, stumbling on one of my unlisted videos? Though you channel is registered in 2017, I haven't really been active in communities since then.

I thought video’d be more funny and impressive than BadApple!!, but in reality the latter still gets twice as much daily views, even after 6 years. People run off quickly once they realise It’s a rickroll, probably not realising that this is done in-game without any mods.

This is awesome! You linked WireHead in the description (I wrote it), are you using it for this and were there any issues? Super happy that it's useful for other large scale projects like this if so!
I haven't had time to try it, but now that you mention it... 😅 I'm able to only output first frame, but after nothing happens, even if manually toggling clock. I assume that's because it fallbacks to default behavior before caching everything. Maybe I should port my own battletested framework as an optional backend for WireHead) The project itself is done way before WireHead were conceived. It's still optimized for regular Terraria wiring and have some gating diodes to reduce wire flood-fill.
Ok so did they make a giant computer to sequence the lamps to make the images? Or did they make a giant slideshow of lamped screens and just teleport through them? Or something else? Also: best Rick Roll in the last five years at least.
It is very specialised piece of circuitry, similar to some midi chips that store audio samples directly on the die, only in this case it’s video data. There’s no computer per se, but a circuit that turns differently coloured torches on and off at particular points in time. With the number of frames in the video, there’s no way to fit such number of independent screens in the world. If you want to learn more, stay tuned. I’m working on a video that explains how it works in details.
@@RomixalView Awesome. I was thinking about the terrible lag bigger complex circuits can make and thought a slideshow might be less... disruptive.... But if there ain't space in world that's that I guess.
why is this screen SO big??? my monitor is 1280/1024😭
If you have Nvidia or AMD GPU you can make use of Dynamic/Virtual Super Resolution to have bigger resolution than your physical monitor. I’ve tried to maximise screen resolution and frame rate and settled on this particular configuration, since it the best trade off that can still fit into Terraria world. I tried smaller RGB screens, but it’s completely unreadable.
