no sound/audio?
this is a great tutorial. lots to learn here. thank you for sharing, well done!
cool!
Outside the base color, how are you generating the other texture maps?
Machine Learning generated textures for design proposals. not as final texture so it just output colormap, that just makes the greybox more attractive. iA should never be used for final texture cause at the moment the shapes are still blurry, text are messy and tilling is not right or needs to be finetuned. textures are cached for video purpose.
Cheers. Really cool to see someone else playing around with these Houdini + Ai + Unreal workflows.
I wish so much to learn to do some 3D stuff too. Really great btw !
thank you!!!!!!
It looks too perfect and clean but interesting dungeon generator
Wow, that's amazing! Any plans for a tutorial?
crazy skill!!!
Just discovered this. Would love to see, if not a tutorial, a breakdown of how to achieve something like this. It's brilliant and super inspiring! :)
Curious how you were able to get the mask layers to import into Unreal? Landscape paint layers not importing with HDA. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
Damn c'est insane
Can HDA be purchased in the market?
How to deal with the confluence of two rivers
the flow map (vector map) is baked automaticallyin houdini, but it is basicaly an attibute transfert from the original curve where direction is given by the curveU attribute, but there is no real pressure flow at the confluence. U would have to create the vector amplification from your own
@@stereographik Thank you for your reply.
This is so beautiful!
cool
Anyone know how to solve the normals issue at 18:00 ? The HIP file link is dead.
For all wondering you can just use the new orientalongcurve node in Houdini instead of using polyframe!

Une superbe vidéo! Ce serait vraiment chouette d’en avoir d’autre 😁 Tu as un ton posé et un rythme très appréciable quand on apprend! Merci beaucoup

I fixed it :)
Thank you. Really great tutorial if not for the abrupt cut! Learned alot from it!
Can you share your source file?
holle I like this very much
C'est bien parce que je peux apprendre Houdini et exercer ma comprehension orale en francais en meme temps. Merci beaucoup pour ce tutoriel.
This is fantástic!
Merci beaucoup pour ce partage de méthode ! Je cherchais exactement ca! Je me demandais si on pouvait faire des cliffs et d'autres formation rocheuse en stylisé, et je n'arrivais pas à trouver...

Drop tutorial or give us the file for fbx
Amazing Work!
At 18:00 there is a section missing and my planks don't follow the normals of the curve like yours. Did I miss a step? I added up normals via @N = set(1, 0, 0); but don't know how to get them to follow the arc created in the ramp.
I added the hip file in the video description
@@stereographik Thank you very much! The Polyframe gave me the normals, but they were facing down. I had to add a reverse normal to the grid, since I couldn't seem to flip the normal direction of the line. Continuing on. Thank you!!
Why does the Position along the ramp of each point affect it's Y value? Setting a value in the ramp at a particular value doesn't guarantee it will be at that value.
the value you set in the ramp will be the value in the right units because there is no scale on top and the initial y value is zero, as the vop is adding the value to the initial one it will be that value, BUT it also depends of the curve smoothing (bezier /catmull/...) because you are right the catmull do not pass by the value.
how to do it?
Tutorial please

Thanks a lot for the tutorial... I don't speak French... So could you please just explain why u added the facet node.. And what it does. Thanks.
hey the facet node is useless ! just a lost node from a previous try, sorry for this.
This is really great... I just wish it was in English
