Maya Arnold Render test with RTX 4090

When I was choosing a PC, I was looking for a video that would show me how such hardware renders with Maya Arnold and how long it takes. If you can't add your texture in Material Editor, just disable Virtual Texture import in Project settings.

@XYZartStudio yea, every step. Unfortunately I had this problem. I think this is an issue for ue5.3 .
@XYZartStudio I solved it. Unfortunately, it doesn't work if I enter to unreal in architecture template, but it works. If I enter in a game template

Thanks for this helpful tutorial, it helped me solve the issue! On top of that, I had another problem - I couldn't change the texture samples in the other two layers because of enabled Virtual Textures on import. I reimported my Megascans textures without VT and only then I was able to add my own textures to Middle and Top layers. UE is soooo embarassing and frustrating if you don't know all the technicals!

How do i import textures without VT???? Thanks For those who reached this comment with same problem as me, you can disable VT on all project or just those materials you want. ALL PROJECT: Edit>Project Settings> Virtual Textures > Enable Virtual texture support (off) / Enable Virtual Texture on Texture import (off) ONLY ON MATERIALS YOU WANT: Double click on texture > Serch Virtual Texture on Details bar> Disable Virtual Texture (off)

I did everything but as soon as i go to mesh paint mode it wont paint. The green dots aren't showing... is the problem with the engine?
Hey Danny, Sometimes it finds some bugs and does not work. After each change settings, click on the paint button again and select it. Maybe the problem will be solved.

Hey, so you need to make the rectangles with subdivisions as described at about 2.53 on the video, this drove me crazy for a while too but it works for me now :)

This is a great work around for the problem, for SOME people! For others, like myself, this still doesn't work! And yes I followed the steps exactly the same, many times over and it still does not work!
Hey, Sorry to hear that. I think it's a bug from Unreal Engine 5.2 . As some still do it normally
@@XYZartStudio Thanks for your reply but actually I just figured out why the work around wasn't working for me! I am an experienced Unity user, but a newbie to Unreal, so please excuse me! What I realized is that my textures were being imported with the letters VT on, which of course means Virtual Textures.....once I disabled the virtual import option in the projects settings, re imported the texture into my project, it worked! Maybe I'm the only one that didn't realize this! 😂 If not, maybe this could help others! Thanks for your videos, very helpful!! 👍🏾

When I drag the new textures to the Middle or Top layer, nothing happens. And I cant find them by searching for them in the search bar of the layer too. It's very frustrating, anybody knows the solution? The textures are a hundred percent certainly present in my content drawer!
You can find the texture by searching the texture. Just click on the desired section and then search for the texture. You don't need to drag and click.
Just disable Virtual Texture import in Project settings.
do you know why this issue occurs?
I think that there is a problem with the update of the new version. It is strange that some people do not have these problems!
