My Worst DBD Cheater Experience

Never experienced such blatant cheating from not only one, but two cheaters! But it was a fun game nevertheless! Also had a little bit of fun adding in some meme jokes into this video. I apologize if it comes off as annoying

So, when i use jack my transition works no problem.. but when i run it through steam in my_mod folder during the transition it puts me into the floor and im unable to move or use noclip? Any suggestions on how to sole this issue?

An easier method of clipping stairs is to simply use the clip texture, which does not affect the visuals in any way. It’s not better or worse that a func_wall AAA texture, but it is quicker and doesn’t eat the entity count.
What if I wanted to make a barney monster say something that, for example, he would only say in Blue Shift?

How do i make it so the button is inside the lift? Grouping or connecting entities doesnt do anything, the button stays in place while the elevator goes down
also the func_train keeps being put into the center of the map when i compile i want to die

Hey there! Thank you for your comment. I am happy you fixed it. For those who are experiencing the same problem, the reason why the lighting is broken is due to a leak (player exposed to the void).
would it be possible to mod in bioshock 2's hacking instead of the tile game?

So I was in jack, making my mod, but there was a problem, my resizing, moving objects were too smooth, instead of moving square by square (square) how do I fix this? I didn't do anything about it. If you don't understand, the moving or resizing moves by the grid, for example, one cube, moves to the square grid. And soon, it turns to smooth!

Sorry for asking for help on a 5 yr old video but... when I try to run the map I get a pop-up saying "Fatal Error: Failed to initalize authentication interface. Exiting..." and I looked for a log like you said to in your replies to others' issues, but I don't have a .log file there. I manually created a profile following the J.A.C.K. manual, and created a "mapsrc" folder in my valve folder, which is where I saved my map. The only files that show up in there are a .jmf, .jmx, .map, and a .max file. Any idea what I might've set up wrong? Edit: Realized I didn't have Steam running 🤦♂ sorry

@@Chaos7040 Hi again, have you ever thought about doing a raw video where you show us interesting map creation tips in real time, just recording and speaking over it? I mean, if you plan on stopping the series because of the ammount of effort it takes to reach your current level of quality, I would prefer you do something easier instead of nothing anymore.

I am currently in the brain storming stage of episode 12, and have something planned for it. Maybe in future I’ll do a string of videos on the creative process of level creation.

Remember to use names without spaces for maps, as it gave me an error when using "Tutorial Map" as a name, but worked with "Tutorial_Map"
